A garden from start to finish First time job! I recently completed my project of 9 plants (Chocolate Chunk, Jack Herer, Shishkaberry), and I think it turned out quite well for my first shot. I thought I’d show everybody how it looks from start to finish, so I brought up all the old pics and made a mini photo album!! This is believe it or not, a picture from my garden…with the help of some computer technology of coarse…lol Veg Week 1 Here they are, nothing much to see I guess… Veg Week 5 Here they are after transplanting them, they were getting too root bound in the pots. Bad idea to transplant them into these, I shouldn’t of put more than one plant per container, but I had no choice at the time, so I put all 9 in two 2x3 feet containers…yikes! But it was about 2 feet high so the roots have plenty of growth space the play around with. Flowering day 1 First day of flowering, defiantly an exciting day. I couldn’t install the HPS bulb yet, but I will have it in by next week. Flowering day 8 WOW, it’s flowering quite quick, I was surprised to see the results so soon after putting them in 12/12. The HPS really makes a difference for flowering. Flowering day 17 I was now using my blooming fortifiers, and other blooming ferts, and it resulted in some fast action budding. Flowering day 26 Now the resin begins!!!! Flowering day 35 I’m speechless! Only half way there and they look so delicious… imagine what another month will do?!?!?!?! Flowering day 47 Now that they look almost ready, I put it on an all water diet. Leaves are yellowing and dying, buds are full and compact, yeup… almost ready! Flowering day 59 Here they are all dead and ready...lol I stopped watering them about 3 days ago. This will result in faster drying buds… but that’s why they look so dead at the moment. I also put them through 24 hours of complete darkness. They really finished off nicely these girls, im proud of my strong ladies; they really pulled through and gave me some high quality crystallized buds. Now it’s time for the part I’ve been waiting for, for 3 and a half months… the chop!!! Cola before cut Smaller nugs drying Two colas drying More and more small nugs drying This is jsut the bottom nugs all mixed up, we couldnt really trim these ones so we left it leafy and we might use it for muffins...cant waist anything.... SEEDLING This was my seedling. I found it in one of my dad’s homegrown buds, so I decided to grow it, didn’t germinate it, or soak it, I just planted it and it ended up sprouting healthier than ever. wow The growth was going slow, but the nodes were so close together, so I didn’t know what was going on. BUT it showed its sex after 4 weeks and it was female. So I continued to grow it. Well, here it is after 5 weeks. Not a normal plant I can tell you that, there was no vertical growth happening, so I concluded that it was a frigging dwarf…wutever, but this just shows how easy it is to grow, even from seed, no need to germinate, just plant and watch it grow. SIMPLE! But ya, I pulled this one out, not worth the hassle of bringing up a dwarf that will yield close to nothing. Look at the big ass leaf growing, it was 6 inches long…hehe!! Thats it, pretty cool eh? i forgot to take a pic of all 9 colas together...whutever u get the picture... The reason why I posted these pics, were to influence people into doing their own garden (if you haven’t already started). A lot of people are fretful of starting a garden because they see all these incredible looking plants from other people, and think that they will never be able to grow like that, not true. Experience does helps in achieving a decent garden and I did not have any before I started this one, but having the knowledge can be a very useful thing, and these results prove that. This was my first garden ever indoor, and I can say that I am proud. This tells people that if you do your research, and read, and do more reading, and more research, and ask questions and more questions, you CAN have a first garden to actually be proud of…. and people, its only gonna get better from here, so new growers don’t be discouraged, put all your dedication and knowledge into it, and your results will always be satisfying. Thanks for looking at my garden Ill be starting up again in a few weeks… Peace and good luck with your future gardens!! hey camper... like i said before it wasnt a wise idea to put more than 1 plant per container, and when i pulled thm out i could see that they were all root bound together but for some reason it did not effect the life of the plants AT ALL!!
Nice work Danno. I let my tin can and string download each and every pic too. Good luck on your next round.
