UPDATE:I finally got some real soil....had to go up into a city in the fucking mountains to get it tho:thumbs-up:...so i popped new seeds and took 3 clones from a female plant outside *just started to show white hairs at top of plant, these clones show no pistils yet as they were bottom branches i would've pruned anyways*.I also bought 6 2700k 20 watts to go in my closet along with 2 6400k. I setup a new light fixture that can hold 8 bulbs now for a total of 160 watts of FLOWER POWER. Use them all. You need all the light you can get on them using those cfls. It will help reduce their stretch. looks good though. asssit:
Whay he said, use them all. No reason to wait. It's hard to tell from the picture buy you may be able to lower those CLFs a bit closer to the plants. Also, next time you rig up a light bar like that you can daisy chain the wire from one light to the next. By wiring them is series you'll only have to deal with one cord leading from the fixture to the wall. Make sure your connections are clean and TIGHT, loose connections will result in a fire and we for sure don't want that. Considering what you have at your disposal to work with your doin OK .
I'm making sure that all my connections are tight constantly as today was my first run of the setup...its lights off in a few mins so i will plug those other 4 lights in a few.It's good to know that im on the right track...

Get the lights closer. You should be able to get them about 2"-3" away from the plants. Those CFL's don't have much intensity. It may look bright to you, but at that distance, for the plants it is like being in partial sun or shade. Get them close and you will get better growth. This pic is by blackprince11. Unfortunately all the pics are gone from his threads due to the GK upgrade but the old pics are still accessible. He has done several CFL grows with good results. It takes some fine tuning but check out his plant in this pic. Notice how close the lights are and how many of them he is using.
aight then....its just I will have to raise the clones bc i cant lower my light any more due to my fan being in the way, and I've seen blackprince's cfl grow pics...they're pretty cool:thumbsup:
UPDATE:So i put a small veg cab together in a different closet:coolbounce: I decided to put the runty clone in there..as it is only 1 1/2 inches and probably wont make a tall cola if I flower it now, im also gonna use the veg cab to pop seeds in.Im leaving the light on for 24 hrs as I cant get another timer here:BangHead: so its plugged into the wall. UPDATE:So all the clones died:wtf?:they didnt root, but thats what i get from cloning a flowering plant... but my closet is filling up with sprouts...got 6 as of tonight...hopefully my cracked seeds in coco will break ground soon. UPDATEok so i decided to take some pictures...everything is looking healthy, no problems the oldest sprout is the first pic and its 8 days from breaking soil. I put 3 sprouts in their final containers...then i decided why not grow them in those bags filled with dirt until they show sex, then put em in final container. UPDATEso im 18 days into the grow, oldest plant is 18, the others are 3 days apart from it.Im suspecting 2 males in the garden so far, and no signs of sex yet. a few different phenos thanks to this clusterfuck of stains here:kidding: there is some sticky visible thc on the leaves where its branching out,some are starting to smell a little, its all growing healthy and green so far. A lil updateso i decided to finish them in 1gal pots...here is a few pics of the plants...the oldest is 40 days in this picture....all of them have been under 12/12 since they popped...the plants in coco i tossed,had some def's i couldnt take care of bc i cant get the proper nutes, oh well........I have seen white hairs on only one of the plants so far....no balls on any of the others....so im thinking its female...but it could be a hermie too cuz this shit is bagseed:jj: but it was the best looking pheno that flowered first.....vamos a ver....P.S.
