my local hydro store recommended Great White Premium Mycorrhizea and said it works wonders for him... it wasnt as expensive as some of the others but not the cheapest... it has both endo and ecto mycorrhizea...

i was wondering if i should apply some of this product to my seedlings?

any recommendations would be greatly appreciated... as always thanks in advance for any and all help

Bigbud214, I've never used the stuff, so I really cannot comment on it, but I've been watching your grow thread and I am going to make a suggestion.

I know you are excited and want to do a good job of growing your plants, and with the folks here on GK helping you out, I'm sure you will. However, since it is your very first grow, I would recommend just keeping it simple with just the basic nutes and hold off on the additives until you get a feel for how the plant grows.

You are going to have problems throughout the grow, like we all did when we started, so I think by keeping it simple, you will be able to identify and correct problems much easier. You wont have to wonder if it's the bloom booster, or the "liquid light," or soil enhancers, etc.

I would suggest for this round you work on watching the PH and learning how the nutes and light interact with the plant. Get a feel for the plant and know what it looks like when it's over or under watered, has too much or too little N, P, or K. After this grow, when you have some home grown all jarred up, then try out the different additives.

Anyway, just my opinion. I hope you don't take it the wrong way because I am rooting for you.

I'm sure some others will probably disagree with me and that's o.k. We all have our different styles.

By the way, I've never used any additives, just the 3-part Vita-Grow formula.

The mycc is a fungal soil inoculant. It's used once, either in a top water or added during mixing. I'd wait until your repot into something bigger and mix it in with your soil prior to repotting.

    Pretty simple really.

    cheers,

Thanks guys... its a micro fine endo and ecto mycc powder and use 1 tsp per 2 gallon H2o. it says as a top drench every 2-3 wks... i plan on using it when i put the seedlings in solo cups with the watering... then im guessing when i repot them into their final pots... heres the babies today... 5 of 5 popped and sprouted

BB- if you keep organic the mycc should be fine without the 2-3 week additions. Since your goal is to keep a living soil it should propagate itself and grow as the root system develops without regular addition.
