i must of done something wrong coz i had a big fight with my girlfriend,run out of money buying birthday presents for somone who did not buy me any for my birthday,broke my good bong and have no good smoke to make me better. i think i just go to bed

today the fight got even worse i tryed to talk to her and make things better but she would not talk to me. i was suppose to go to her house after work but decided to give her more time to cool down so instead i went to friends place just to smoke a little bit. latter on my girl found out i went there instead of her house she then said to me "choose between me or the weed" i love them both but i love her more
Given that weed is thought of as a drug and most people frown on them, her request might seem reasonable. Take out the fact that you are talking about weed, then someone who loves you and is mature will not ask you to give up something you enjoy doing. Unless what you're doing is hurting you or them No one who cares about you wants to see that. However when two people love each other, they make allowences or make sacrifices. I myself don't think smoking a little weed is all that bad, but I know many who do. Anyways all this aside, you're the one whos going to have to make the decision. Just some advice, when it come to women, once they know they can get you to do almost anything, they will always have that power and make use of it when it suits them. A good releationship can work both ways if done right, I know many couples who make each other do various tasks or quit bad habbits, but it works both ways and is never one sided if it's going to work. Dont back down on the weed. You just have to explain why it is not this life destroying drug that everyone thinks it is! Thats what i have done and its more or less sorted now. My lass said the same thing to me about 3 years ago. And that is about all we have argued about for 3 years (not constantly!) She now realise that no matter how much she bitches and moans about it, its not going away. I've basicly said that i did thid before her and i'll do it after her if thats the way she wants it. along with explaining its good points.
