I live in Connecticut and hurricane Irene is scheduled to hit us directly on Sunday. I currently have two flowering females and one clone. Now I was going to put them into my shed to keep them safe from the 100 MPH winds. Does anyone have any advice or any considerations I should know about storing a plant. My main concern after the high winds is the stress this could cause to my plants. As they would receive virtually no light during Sunday. Any info on storing a plant free of stress would greatly be appreciated.

Theyre genetically programmed to deal with stress

Keep it out of the deadly wind..one day without light won't be bad at all.

Good to know. What about mold and or spider mites that may exist in the shed. If it's going to be out the light anyway would it help or harm the plants if I place a black garbage bag over them?

Nix the garbage bag. Plants need to breath and respire.
