I was wondering??? I have a 5 gal. bucket. in the top i have cut out a round piece of foam with a hold in the middle for a 32 oz. cup. Then I put slots in the side of the cup and put the plant in it. and filled the bucket up to the bottom of the cup with a fish bubbler in the bottom creating oxygen in the water. I put about 1.5 tsp of 10-60-10 fert in ever galmof water i put in?? Is that enough? thanks for the replys!
10-60-10.......peters right? I dont know how well that stuff works in hydro but the bucket system are easy to set up and maintain. You'll get crazy roots(enough to fill bucket) in a matter of weeks. Goto OG and read up on it there, alot of good info on it.
For enough O2 saturation you need around 600cc's of air per gal of water. You really need an airpump with two outlets if you don't have one. When roots grow out of the foam you can lower the water level to below the foam. As far as using peters i have no idea. Do you have a PH and tds meter?
