Three months ago I purchased a clone machine from American agritech and cloning has become simple.all you have to do is keep everything clean, such as pump, net pots, hydroton.use water from reverse osmosis machine or distilled water.use a cloning formula 20-30-20.mix formula in water, check ph.run system for 2 or 3 hours with no clones to wet hydroton.take cuttings and put in net pots fill hydroton around stem and put in unit.leave dome on for 12 to 24 hours and your finished.right now have 5 different strains in machine.before my cloning rate was 50 to 60%,now it's 90 to 100% effective.this was 300 dollars, but worth every penny.CK

Yah! my buddy, who taught me the steps of the snips years ago, built him one real cheap, but he's handy. The main thing he likes about it, is he can put MONSTER size cuts in it, and get them to take.

I once built an igloo cloner/veg machine for about $40 US. Made it from an igloo ice chest, for 25 plants. Could have made ot for as many as 75 plants. uses 2" net pots. Check the FAQ (I think its there) or do a search in the forums. Otherwise, scope out my garden for all the details.
