Can you still use the petters 20-20-20 in a Hydro system? I have looked at a few Ferts. but they are all like 0-9-8 or something like that. Someone tell me what is good to use in Hydro. -peace-
I have found that the peter's 20-20-20 expunge some of the minerals into salts in a hydro garden. I don't know which of the salts or what percentage of the salts are recrystallized in the nutrient resevoir. Something that worked for me when i was beginning was miracle grow 30-15-15 for vegging and miracle grow 30-30-30 when flowering. Now the miracle grow does not contain Magnesium or Calcium which are needed during the vegging and flowering stages. If you are using tap water then the lack of Mg and Ca is not a problem since they are 99% of the time found in tap water. If you are using filtered water than you might consider supplementing these two minerals
i like supernatural brand. I don't think peter's or miracle gorw contain enought trace elements to support hydro. i know that BC bloom and BC name products are less expencive. they are made by technaflora in BC canada. hope this helps. all i can say is if you are gonna grow hydro, buy hydro ferts. not miracle grow.
I agree with you there "shroom" if you're going to do hydro use hydro nutes. But I also empathize with growers out there who can't pay for the high priced nutes right off the bat. Afterall, Miracle Gro and others though crude still costs pennies per litre to make.
Ok I got the BC grow BC Flower and BC Punch. I also got the PH up and down kit. I hope this will be all I need. I just got my 4 station drip unit. I'm ready to grow some Hydro!
use canna products. they have extensive knowledge and years of experience in producing nutes specifically for di weed maan. but the best thing to do is to try all of the different products until you find the best one for you. keep up the good work grobros and grosistas
SuperNatural Brand Chemz was the best chemz i've tried so far! Why do i like it so much? Becuz my rezzy'z PH never goes past 6PH with SuperNatural Chemz! I found a site that give you the formula for mixing the BC ferts. http://www.technaflora.com/recipe.php
A good brand I used was Hollands Secrets. Grow-Micro-Bloom and added Bud Max during flowering stage. My buds were smellin tasty . They also provided me with instructions on how much to add during the various stages of growth. And other tips on growing. Its all on this website about halfway down the page General" target="_blank">http://www.quickgrow.com/gardeni....General Hydroponics is also a well known brand.
GH is about to introduce a new line of semi-organic one part ferts very similar to botanicare's PBP. FloraNova V&B, FloraEssence (tea), FloraKleer. If they aren't too expensive they look like maybe worth a shot.
I went with GH Maxi series nutes, and so far so good. Theyre pretty inexpensive, and no ph down or up, when you mix em to water.
Well I setteled on Pure Blend Pro. Veg and Flower. With Thrive alive and B.ccuzz growth stimulator for the veging. and Monster bloom to be added for flowereing.
