Hey every one, I am a newbie to the forum, and i ran through some of the threads and found alot of useful info. I was looking to grow using hyro-ponics, I have never grown this way before I have had a few plants outside that have done fairly well. I have a fairly limited space and money, I only want like 3 or 4 plants. Will it be spendy to grow this way? I am looking to grow my next couple plants in-doors so any help will be great. Thanks A.S.C
you could get a bubler system pretty cheap or you could just make one. im no pro have been growing in dirt but have recently started some hydro as well and found the bublers to be the simplest and cheapest system. check this link for an idea http://www.landmsales.com
Thanks for the info and link. I was looking at the AEROPONIC set-up, would that be better then their hyrdo set-up? and if i am going to make my own.. im their hydro set-up they have an air pump and air stones, how are they set up under the lid? Any help or maybe a diagram would be great. Oh ya when you grow this way do you have the actual seed in the water? or is it above the water? Thanks a lot A.S.C
If your a beginner, I wouldn't recommend hydro and certainly not aeroponics. First time, soil is best. What you need to do before you do anything else is read a growbook or 2 or 3. Also cruise FAQ here.

Yes, go with soil. It is simple and foolproof! This is my first grow, and the plant is beautiful! So what if it takes a few weeks longer... also, the bud may not be quite as big.. they're still BIG! Man, way better than nothing! I was told by someone here to purchase a book on hydro... that is also probably your best bet. True, you can find it here, but after all the surfing, your brain will probably explode. Do yourself a favour and get a book. Much easier!
Anything by Ed Rosenthal (the Guru of Ganja) is good. Some of his books, as well as others, are available free, on-line. Do a search.
Thanks for all the great advice. Ill check that guy's name out on-line, plus i am going to the mall today so i will check at barnes and noble when i am there. Thanks again A.S.C
Go straight for a easy hydro setup. You are wasting learning time on basic ass boring grow techniques.Ebb and flow and keep your ph right and the rest is easy.Foxfarm hydro formula and you cant go wrong.Add floralicious or b cuzz for extra nice fruit.Dirt will make you want to try hydro and it costs money to switch you setup over.Good luck and keep reading up it will all fall in place.
