After reading Mr G's thread and hearing all the people who were smart enough to get a trimmer I decided to order one from the Ebay site Mr G put up. It was the best price I could find on that model so I started the process. But seems that Ebay wants you to use Paypal which sounded OK but when I signed up it was a pain in the ass. I'm not an online buyer and prefer to do business face to face or at least by phone. The Paypal process asked to fucking many questions. To me, a name, address and a debit card # should be plenty. When they insisted on my bank account info to process the order I became very leery and said fuck it!! Tried to delete my account with them only to find out "Easier said than Done". So, if someone knows a route to the machine that bypasses Paypal I'd appreciate it. But, the reason and need for it was 4 ladies in soil needing trimmed and the 1.5 hours it takes me per plant, it' killing me! I've gotten 3 of them trimmed. #1 #2 #3 I'll trim this tonight I'll have 3 more just like them come Sunday or Monday and 4 coming off a table the middle of next week. These were all soil and the hydro will be even bigger. Be Cool, CG
PayPal is good on something's and can be a pain in the ass on other stuff. They could make it a lot easier than it is but I think they do all that stuff to keep scammers at bay. I did not look at the ebay post, but there was no other way to pay for it? Visa, debit card? Some people use paypal because it's easier for them.
I just ordered one off of Amazon. I had ordered something from there years ago and still had an account. Took barley 2 minutes. Costs $15 more than Ebay, but fuck the $, I just need one by early next week. This shit is killing my hands. JCIO, the only payment options I saw on Ebay was paypal and paypal credit. I could be wrong, it does happen once a year:roffl:, but it's done now and I can quit my bitching. The biggest reason I was looking hard at paypal is for ordering some new genetics cause I've been growing the same 2 strains for 6 years and really need to try some others I hear everybody talking about. Nice plants. :eusa_clap: :thumbsup::redbong: You could make the trimming a little easier if you cut some branches separately. Fingers will still get cramped but it'll go quicker. For other genetics just get one of those pre-paid cards. They're a very safe option. Most seed banks take them just make sure you get the card that can be used overseas. I have never had a problem but somebody told me that they got one and couldn't order from overseas. :dontknow:

Thanks all!! I'm getting better at trimming off the lower stuff and getting those tops fatter. I've started feeding a little heavier too, was 1 feeding 1 strait water. Now 2 feedings and 1 strait water. I ordered the same 19" model that Mr G has. Not sure what color, as if that matters. Should have done it long ago to free up time for other shit. Lvs, that card idea sounds great, probably the route I'll go. Thanks!! I usually do cut the branches down, and it does save time and work. But I've got a shit-load going into the drying closet in the next few days and the larger sections just saves space. FF, those 4 plants are the Alpha 13 (Spacebud). It's a Skunk and BigBud cross from years ago. You can definitely see the BigBud in it. I love it cause it's short, stocky, and makes some fat buds. The other I grow is the ole AK-48. I've got 4 of them coming off a table in a few days. The tops aren't quite as fat as these, but a couple are close to a foot long. I could cut them now but I've decided to let them go the full 8 weeks and maybe get a good pic for the upcoming photo contest. I've got 4 more to take their place in the table and will give the LEDs a shot at them. Be Cool, CG
