i have looked at the chart an feel stupid because i still dont know so were should i have it my plant is1 day into Lst stage she is 15 weeks old
Above your plants works well, so I'm told. 150 aint that powerful, get it as close as possible without burning the top of your girls. One quick way is to stick the back of your hand under the light, if you can keep it there without it being uncomfortable your plants should be ok.
hold your hand just above the tops of your plants, if the light is too hot to handle on your hand then it is probably too hot for your plants. i have a 400watt hps and have kept it about 1 1/2- 2 ft away when the plants are young and gradually take it down to about 1 foot away when they can handle it. Of course other factors come into play here, such as how good your ventilation is, the size of your room, how cool it gets in there, etc...Basicly you gotta experiment, till you find the right distance for your plants. Better a little too far away than too close IMO...hope this helps edit...damn it chop you beat me to it by mere seconds
you have a 150 watt hps? i know the 250's are supposed to be 8 inches away, so id say put it about 4-5 inches away. im not 100% on that, but it would make sense
I have a small 150 Hps I used it back in the day and I kept mine 5-7" from the tops .... that should suffice...
