This isn't news. His old man was saying the same thing during the Gulf War. He reminds me of my high school biology teacher who used to say noo-ke-lar. Makes it kind of hard to respect someone who talks like that and is supposed to know better.
I understand you don't trust Saddam...I don't either, but does that mean we have to trust George? I don't trust any of them. It is very easy to commit to a war you don't have to fight. oh boy, now u guys got me started on this topic. just my two cents: i think that United States should for once listen to what the rest of the world wants, the U.N. is against the idea of going to war with Iraq and so is the rest of the world. the U.S. never considers other country's needs and opinions, everyday that passes with Bush as president the world's hate towards the U.S. grows. not just Afghanistan hates America right now, all of Europe does too. i think that Bush is a fucking puppet, he can't even pronounce nuclear, so are we supposed to let him draw to such dangerous decisions. Prophit, "bomb the **** out of them" seems to be our country's only answer to any conflict, pretty sad for a country that wants to be looked at as a world leader
You said it Link. A leader needs to act upon the interests of those he represents as well as those he is on equal ground with. Just like any "bully"....eventually they are exposed and taken down from their perch. Bombing those that you disagree with is not the way to handle things, nor will it end the warped circle of events. I don't think that the American people are behind this war. I don't think the US Congress is behind this war, but somehow...some way he will have his war. Then we really need to fear because this only brings pain and suffering to the very ones that wanted peace. On both sides..... I say bring the bully down and stand up for our rights as Americans and let them know that they work for US! That is what the "us" in USA is....us... you and me.
I say we all start our own community with no cars, oil, etc... we all farm and grow our own ****, not just weed (but plenty of it, yes - hemp too). Let's do this on a large scale, get everyone in on it. This is my fantasy.

I think people are generally quite sensible, but once you get these people in power, all that sense seems to go right out the window. Bush has his own agenda for this attack, if he can string along a few other countries on the pretense of fighting terrorism, even better. Seems like it's ok to attack other countries and tell everyone what to do. As long as you make people think it's for their own good, and then pay everyone to agree with you. If you punch someone, then help them back to their feet, say "sorry, you needed that", they're still going to punch you back.Right? But I guess if you pay everyone who's watching to mind their own business and you're holding a gun, it's ok. I hate what is happening in the world today, it makes me sick. Fellers all wars have hidden adgendas behind them. I was once part of the fightin men and women of the u.s. And i can say whilst your in it ya believe it and all. not till ya stand back and look do ya see alot of dirty **** we (our govt) do. Now we had all them new gadgets ta try out in the gulf war and we did. BUT just as in other political involvements we stopped short,,,KOREA, VIETNAM, GULF WAR... Now i praise the men and women (boys and girls) who will sign on the dotted line that anywhere and anytime theyd give their life. Just like their daddies did. Who in the hell do ya think has fought for our country? its the poor fuckers thats who not the rich pricks they usually find a way out. So dont be too hard on us country boys believin they's a better way we just believe thats how things are passed down

i jus got back from the hospital (my mom has lung cancer) and i agree with yous that bombing is not the answer however if we dont theres no telling what sadam would do (hes a psychopath in my oppinion) so im sayin should we wait to he bombs us i think we have to take enforsement in there country sadam is a dangerous man and theres no telling how far he will go to get nuclear information so i say y not bomb them (not nuclear) but they can detect radioactive material from certain satelites so i say wait till they start getting nuclear material then bomb there base i dont know about you people but i dont wanna let sadam attack beacause u kno wut happend sept 11'th that could be worse by alot so in conclusion i say we take action

that i think would be difficult than it would mean that the oter countries could plan attack more thoroughly(cant spell too high) and that would make it real hard to defend when who knows wut things they could plan (u think the other countries really like us i dont) and if the other countries worked together they could devolop nuclear technology more quickly then a country with a treaty with us could deliver the bomb and boom!!!!!!!!
