This group, Cannabis International, is working to promote cannabis not only as a medicine but also as a food source. Their cannabis use form is juiced and non-psychoactive. Here's a link to their site. http://www.cannabisinternational.org/index.php A YouTube video of Cannabis International. Very compelling research and testimonials.
I did try this for a very short time frame of 2 weeks. You need to have enough growing to harvest fresh leaf and bud on a daily basis. I was growing 8x8 room as a perpetual grow and had trouble keeping up with the need of fresh material to juice and still allowing enough at the end for smoke and other things I make with the dried cannabis. I'm going to set up a new room, hoping 10x10, in the near future and I will give this another try. I can say I did feel something in the short 2 week trial I did enough so I would give it some more space. The only way I can see it working is using a perpetual grow as you need fresh bud and trim at the correct time line to use.
