Just won KoRn tickets (hell yeah)

I was sittin here on my lunch break and jammin to 'lunch hell' on the radio.
Well the Dj was giving a set of tickets to KoRn if the 5th caller could answer this question "what is the secret ingredent in a 'flaming moe'" well the answer is 'krusty's brand children cough syrup' so I called and I was the 5th caller.
Here's the funny part . I smoked a bowl before I called so I was pretty baked . The Dj said 'give me what I want ,do you have the answer' I said 'hell yeah' He said 'throw the answer my way and these KoRn tickets are yours. I would be dammed if I got momentary lapse of memory , and couldn't answer him. After 30sec he asked 'dude these tickets are yours just throw me the answer. So I was honest with and said '**** bro this what happens when you smoke a bowl before calling.' He started busting up and said 'your kidding right'  I said 'no not at all' He was laughing so hard he said 'dude you made my day ,come pick up these tickets, and make sure your the same way when you to the concert ka,I'm gonna put you on hold then I'll be back to get your info,ohh wait say'krusty's children cough syrup''..
 Now is fucking cool or what ? I'M GOING TO KoRN GW , and it was because I was BAKED ........HELL YEAH KoRn,Disturbed,TRusT Company Here I come......

Hell yeah man. Thats fuckin awesome. I like korn back when they came out with thier first album. I love the song Clown,Faggot,and another song i cant remember from that album. ANyway, Good job man. That makes my day thinkin that your day is made Someone is happy therefore i am. Peace

Thats killer man, congrats. Korn rocks tha party when they go on stage. I watched a few of there family value tours in 99 and '00. Rammstein is dope if you like German hard rock. Limp rocked it up to. Who is the opening act for him?

 

Gosh i hate limp bizkit. Fred Durst I swear... No offense of course Newfie. I believe the opening act for Korn is trust company or that frickin Deadsy. I dont like either of them really. But id take free tickets anyday to any show besides country or teeny bop poppity poop.

 

Thats wierd agrowguy, I always think that Durst is not that bad of a guy. He's pretty talented. And if you are basing him over his musical lyrics and off stage anticts EMINEM is the worst by far. But he is fucking dope lyrically. I have tones of his stuff, dvds, all his cd's and i was supposed to see him in tacoma but couldn't get the next day off after it! Pissed me off, did anyone go to that concert? It was funny cause when em yelled, lets here it from the ladies, my buddy started yelling and cheering, and the girls next to him started cracking up laughing.. he wasn't even stoned either, it was his hearing problem that did it! Hahhahah, when they went down there, no on would sell them weed, they had to get really drunk before they got in there.

 

i don't believe you dazed and confused. a dj with his phone ringing off the hook wouldn't sit there in silence for 30 seconds waiting for you to think it up. maybe he did, but that's one fucking tall tale. i believe you could've won the tickets with the right answer though.

potentially ill, I don't know where your from but here in Bakersfield,CA(Home of KoRn) our Dj's are very forgiving and kickass. Do me a favor .....stop [edit]with your posts aimed at flaming me !!!  As far as the rest ,thank you ....I would of won them if my brain wouldn't of went dead on me anyways , so telling him the truth got me those tickets.....God I luv Danny Spanks (Dj) He's cool as **** and plays KICKASS rock .

Bakersfield Kicks ass, Born and raised here. Not much to look at except grapevines & cornfields but we have KICKASS Concerts , Awesome AreanaFootball , And some of the best Golf Courses around(can't tell I love Golf heh),4x4 trails from hell.


And being 21/2 hrs away from L.A. we pretty much have access to all the fun needed to make our weekend fun. I wouldn't move for nothing .

Agrow I am with you 100% on the Limp. That guy has buisness skills yes, and thats the side he should have played. Instead


he fucked himself and made himself look like an ass when he picked up the mic and started to ryhme. His **** is garbage, anyone with lyrical credibility knows this, the rest of you who like manufactured **** were just following the systematic cycle we have all been raised under. I saw these dudes live like twice and wasn't impressed.

I like korn as well, they're pretty bad. I just get tired of the same fuckin feeling in his songs. Don't get me wrong they are by no means a bad band. I just think they are only good for that type of vybe. where you have groups like Cypress Hill,Rage,Incubus..etc that have a variety not just the hard **** your ear drums to hell licks and sticks. I saw korn live with kid rock and mettalica once and loved that ****. Kid rock can throw a live show as well. Not a great fan of his music but he has showman ship like a motherfucker.


Plus I met him through a friend, hes pretty cool and laid back.

korn is cool, although i like their older stuff better. but i don't like limp biskit at all, their first record was ok, but it seems to me they turned into a rap metal band, they should have stuck metal.

 

I like Limp's '3 dollar bill' that album rocks but that hot chocolate .....well IMO got way to much airplay and it grove it to the ground. My daughter is trying so hard to get me to into Linkin Park and I just can't. But I still drive her nuts with Queensryche,Rush,Old Metallica,Iron Maiden, and Dream Theater.....My boys love my music and so does my wife (she's 80's Headbanger)


By the way ,does anybody remember 'Headbangers Ball' I heard they might bring it back. Much Music has a kickass show 'delirium' or something like that....

u know i had the Linkin Park cd long before they were ever popular and i really liked it, then they got popular and MTV started playing it and for some reason i just don't like Linkin Park anymore. once MTV has played a song, the band is destened for doom.

 

****, disturbed is going to be there?? thats rowdy as ****. I rocked there **** so hard last summer... I dont like their new one though. It seems they went a little tame on that single, but Icant say anything for there new cd. Is it out yet?


Pauly: when you say when fred picked up the mic he made an ass for himself its kinda the same way eminem did to. He doesn't get credibility from the media anymore because of his bad ass tough guy attitude. Eminem bases his anger and rage on himself and not other people. Why did you go see him twice if you dont like him? Usually you should learn your lesson after the first show.

 

Yeah that's who I REALLY want to see. Disturbed's Sickness CD is asskickin (except for the song Shout). I heard they can really put on a concert.....I've seen KoRn ALOT and I'll go to every Concert they have. It's something about Bands playing in there Hometown that makes them go the extra mile......TRusT Company I'm not so sure about. I like there song Downfall but I havn't heard really anything else from them. I hope they put on a good show, if not KoRn & Disturbed will make up for it...

Dude I didn't have to pay so I thought what the hell! I beleive the second time they were doing a free concert with Cypress Hill. So I saw cypress rock the stage and stayed for limps show. Plus the chicks there were pretty hot!!!LOL Damn I need to go out soon...

 

talking about kick ass shows, rage against the machine is the ****. they're my favorite band ever, and i can't say that i've ever not like one of their songs. i don't think anybody can match rage. (atleast not in my perception) i've seen them twice, and both times were sick.
