My srouts about 15 days old, i gave it a SUPER small dosage of shultz 20-20-20 yesterday and a nice big watering. Even before the ferts the leaves on the plant were drooping. I am growing with fluros so growth has been very slow, my plant only has to two water leaves and two normal leaves, its third set of leaves are starting to grow, but they are VERY SMALL.

This morning i went and checked on my plant and the leaves are all drooped down. Im not exactly sure whats causing this? Any ideas?

I didn't think you could put fluros too close? I have a 4' fixture with 2- 34watt cool white bulbs. I keep these under an inch away from the top. I also have a compact fluro thats 24 watts and gives out a good ammount of lumens for 4$ it costed, i shine this on the side of the plant, i turn the plant around every day to make sure both sides get a good ammount of that extra cfl.

Overwatering may be my problem, i used to water every day just a little, now i switched to watering till i see drops coming out the bottom, this way i will water about every 2-3 days when it dries out a little.

Sounds like overwatering to me. Also...your plants will not need ferts for the first month. Fert too soon and you could kill them especially if the roots are dampened off. Let the soil dry out very well before the next watering and use some Superthrive with the next watering to help them recover.

Also, I would stay away from that schultz fertilizer..I have heard nothing but problems with that brand of fertilizer.. CG [IMG]
