I set up a few new rooms. The hallway pictured green below feeds air into 4 different rooms - a mom room, clone closet, a 3 table veg room and 6 table flower room. About halfway done. The Hub Veg room and reservoir. These are all Dabney. Mom room and work station. Next are the Flower room and light-proof vent, 20"X16". I have 12 onyx units, two per table. Eventually I will get 12 tables total in this room. These are Jackberry X KOK at the end of week 3.
Thanks for looking guys. I forgot to mention I am flooding two tables for each 20 gallon reservoir, and the reservoirs have in-line pump actuated drains, such that to drain the res, you simply open the shutoff valve in the drain line for that res and flip the drain pump switch on the wall. Pump sucks it dry in about 4 minutes. Also each res has a 1/2" feed line with a float valve, so filling is automatic too. Takes too long with the 1/2" line alone tho so I'm filling with a 1" hand held hose pressure fed from those two 96 gallon tanks, which are plumbed together. The drains are nice, even though I loose 7" of table height to get them high enough to drain properly. The fill lines took some getting used to to set the right flow, cuz they fill while they are flooding, and overfill if they fill to quickly. But with the shutoff partially closed, it just keeps the res's perfectly topped off. Freedom! So far I like the LED. No heat issues, lots of light, and plants seem to be growing just fine. We shall see what kinda weight I get off them tho. :thumbs-up:
Damn, dude. Busy is an understatement. But it looks way cool and well thought out. nice job.:thumbsup::thumbsup: BBT
It's been a lot of fun so far. Thanks for the compliments! The table layout might change as I add flower tables. Dunno how many I can get in there, but I am limited by how many plants I can veg at once. I can squeeze four tables into that veg room before I am done, so my limit in the flower room will be 8 tables until I can figure out where to put a 5th veg table. I tell you what tho the costs are out of this world. I have blown by 3X my original estimate. I can't get outta HD without leaving a kidney. GIT ask away man. I'm figuring it out as I go along. You know the drill - gardening at the end of a green barreled shotgun. :roffl:
At first glance from the hall I pictured exam rooms at the doctor's office.:roffl: Or a research lab. Impressive!! Def looks clean and well thought out dude!! Or should I say Dr. GK. Be Cool, CG
FF Sweet set up buddy. Your time and cash are well spent. I do have one observation, if you don't mind... In the 3rd pic I see a power strip with a timer plugged into it UNDER your res and table. I'm thinking the electronics are safer mounted above any potential water leaks or overflows? Very IMPRESSIVE job, and NOT raining on your parade buddy. That just caught my eye ss a possible safety hazard
Good thought BB. Thanks man. Their placement was largely dictated by the electrical plugs cuz all the pumps in that room run off one timer, but it was a rush job. Once I get the rest of the big stuff in I'll find a safer place for them. Funny you should mention it because I actually did overflow one or two of those reservoirs figuring out the auto-top off system. :5eek: Comments, critiques, questions, suggestions, exhortations, condemnations all welcome.
I assume those elevated trash cans are for water storage to give the H2O plenty of time to set before changing the res out. I knew you had a couple brain cells left.:thumbs-up: Oh, is that a green bulb in the hall or the color of the paint? That Micro is some messy shit isn't it!! Be Cool, CG
PD thanks man. I'm working hard at it. Or hardly working at it. Can never remember. :jj: CG brain cells are over rated, but yeah that's a green bulb. And those tanks are full of RO water, so no real need to let em sit. I don't add h202 unless I smell something. And the Micro is the perlite of the hydro world. Gets everywhere.
Yeah I've got that micro on several shirts I guess people think its cherry koolaid or iodine or something, if they only knew. Be Cool, CG
