this is just my opinion . but in nature there is such a thing as thunder storms . so i don't think that a 1 hour power loss is gonna do too much stress to your plants .

    they should be fine .

I've had this happen several times on a couple of grows.....you should be fine. My plants on both of these occasions turned out to be all females.

now when the hurricains hit and several days with out power for lights and fans.......killed everything. But thats a different story........

    You will be fine .

But whenever this happens I would suggest that you reset the timer to the correct time . In other words if lights off is usually 6pm then keep it that way . That hour of power off added an hour of time to your timer . That's a 25 hour day . While an hour of darkness won't stress the plant (IMO) , I wouldn't want to put the plant through too many 25hour or longer days .

The biggest concern is lights interupting the dark cycle not dark interupting the daytime .

Hope that helps , Strato .

It is likely that you will not be able to tell the sex of the plant until you switch your light to 12-12 period. If the nodes are alternating it is ready to flower. Switch the light to 12-12 and keep an eye on them for male or female preflowers. Hairs=female and balls on stick=males. If that doesn't make sense read the faq and use the GrowKind search engine.
