well guys all 3 of my ladies hermied on me on the 42nd day of flowering....i have since harvested..i got alot more than i was expecting...so that was good but...man it stinks...i mean the bad way too...gave me a headache while i was cuttin it up... it wasnt what i was hoping for....really upset about it...ive since figured it was the unstable conditions...i was continually changing my setup to get it right...so the light cycle was interuppted a few times by that and power failures due to a couple bad storms... also the bagseed was prolly not the best start...even through all that i got 3 plants over 5 ft tall and got a qp off it....so this time im hoping to do it more consistently and i am starting with some king strain seeds that i got from a bag i got....it took me buying 3 oz to get 20 seeds to start with but i finally got enough ...ive had em in a ziploc with bannana peels for 2 weeks...and im fixing to start germinating them...im putting them in peat cups and then ill move em to some 10" pots...i am not wanting 5 fters again...i have 800 wts mh for the veg and then 700 wts hps for the flower...guys im gonna freakin buy soil this time too...gimme a good name brand...and some good bloom fert as i use Green Light 12 55 6 is that good or is there something better?...not alot of options for retailers in my neck of the woods so something from lowes or like that if possible...any tips for this next grow will be appreciated...peace
bannana peels they emit ethylene....when they are ripening...it helps femenize the seeds...or so ive read....ill let ya know my results...its from mel thomas..cannabis cultivation guide
That one may be for the Myths thread. No problem Timber.. We ALL face issues in our grows. Sharing them with others helps us all. It does sound like you need to try some good genetics. If you know you have a hermi you can plan to trim.. But not knowing can really suck. I'm afraid that Hermi is a fact of growing... But yeah try some standard brands... And No El.. Don't smoke the banana.....
