No rim joist? Can honestly say I've never seen that anywhere but commercial buildings. But, you do have an exposed block wall apparently so if'n it was me I'd knock out a block or two and put in a vent window. Half a day work, $20 lintel, and a $75 window.
Its got a rim joist, but brick on the outside of it. Basically brick starts on the sill I could punch a whole, but thats not my call. Honestly considering taking hammer drill and making the 4 inch into a 6. But room is 70 this morning so im hoping its fixed
If the cat is worried about the landlord I'd say just do it quietly and professionally then kiss the deposit (or part of it) good-bye. I mean you're already committing a felony, what's part of a deposit by comparison?
Its a chick, but fuck you may be right. Theres a couple things im going to try tomorrow. They wrapped exhaust vent and said it dropped a few more degrees. Im guessing rerouting some thing may bring it low 80 which i can work with. If all else fails ill see how old i am after another project
