medical grow in progress, (waiting on license in mail)

mostly aeroponics but soil (hempy) method for mothers.

Here's what I have so far, Please feel free to give advice =]

    Mother Closet 5x3x7

    Technique- Hempy method

Light- 400w switchable ballast/Reflector with glass insert/6" flange.

    -yo-yo hangers

-6" exhaust fan (STILL DECIDING) any thoughts?

    Ph meter (home depot)

    Grow medium - perlite

Nutes- Fox Farm (grow big, Tiger Bloom, & Big Bloom.

    Containers- Black 5 gal buckets

additional info : Mothers will be started from clones, they will consist of sativa strain. (any good ones ?)

    Cloning/Propagation 3x4x4

DIY clone tent - Gray pvc / Panda liner/ adhesive zipper / Velcro

ventilation-? might not need it if temps are not above 78

Technique- DIY aeroponic cloner (very cost efficient) neoprene inserts/2"net pots cut in half.

    Light -T-5 4ft fixture

    E-Z clone misters

    396GPH submersible pump

    Nutrients - Clonex 150ml (18gal rubbermaid roughneck)

    Flowering room 7'x3'x6'7

    Aeroflo2 (30 site)

    Dehumidifier

    Air-2 Temp/humidity controller

reverse osmosis system (this will be for all growing operations)

1000w hps ON agramover (yes 2 1000w lights would sufficient without agramover, i just like the idea of saving energy on electric bill )"and it looks sweet"

EXTRA pump filter bag for aeroflo (so it wont clog my misters)

Nutrients- Botanigrow / Calmag plus, sweet, liquid karma, pure blend pro, pro bloom.

    Tri-meter continuous ec/ph/temp monitor

    6" exhaust fan

(STILL DECIDING IF I NEED A CHILLER OR NOT )>have to run test cycles.

additional notes: I will not be vegging for more than 2 weeks, Clones will sit until root development then put into aeroflo for an additional week ( for transplant shock) ppm levels will be adjusted gradually over time after 1 week in aeroflo (starting nute schedule low strength) and will eventually be up to 2000ppm early/mid Flower

WILL keep you up to date and will edit this =] feel free to comment.

With all that nice gear this jumps out:

huh?????? Didn't think Home' dePot sold decent meters. Just those goofy probe things for $20.

Toker2 Looking at a hot ass

Those things are good, I bought the test kit with the npk test too

its the tablets and it gives 10 tests.

Its only in the range of 5.0 6.0 7.0 etc but its close and it with the cheap worked fine for me, Dont get it wet though.

But i don't do PH at all, I don't have to, After i set my dirt up

Its fine till finish, the i add some new dirt and then recheck ph to see if all is good and off i go.

Oyster shell did this for me, don't add a ton of it but a decent handful

for say 5 gallons of dirt. Sannies buffer tabs do the same i hear.

Thats it:passsit:.......If you feel the need to know your PH down to a decimal point i understand that too.

    Peace.

The cheap probes are fer shit. To the decimal point? They can't even hit within a range of 3 dude. Fact is that I've owned 3. Bought one, was given one and found one in the garage that simply appeared. For shits and giggles I put one in my aging soil mix bin.....nice 6.8....HMMmmmmmmm. Put it in one of my plants....nice 6.8. Put it in a cup of soil mix saturated with vinegar..nice 6.8. How about that! My soil mix is so awesome it buffers being saturated with vinegar. COOL!

it is okay guys i very much appreciate your comments and interest in the grow. The ph meter will most likely not be neccisary with perlite.(since nutrients will be adjusted with R/o water and hydroponic ph/ppm meter within the range of 6.0 +. Without pics , i feel your not so much interested "truth is this helps with the grow telling people my set-up , im too excited, its been about 4 years since my last grow. i will provide a link to my grow journal when everything is finally in im dropping 2000 cash on everything and setting up a medical grade grow op. should be nice (and will post lots of pics!) im sorry for no pics but just getting you guys motivated for the set-up . i agree no pics=boring thread.

    anyways

Boticare nutrients?? i feel as though they are too much money and im looking for more bang for my buck, so to speek. and good nutrients out there.

my recent grow a long time ago i used GH micro. grow, and bloom, idk seems ok but i feel there is better.

by the way intake is a a/c in the window hooked to a controll unit. cant wait. will keep you updated.!

    questions i have

    1. nutes for aeroflo? (that will not clog)

    2. pest control (i have been thinking neem oil ?) give me advice

3.general clean up to prevent bug infestation(bleach is a bad idea im sure but what other cleaning solution is out there to clean floors etc.?)

    4. I have heard a lot about pvc being harmfull as a DIY grow tent? with the T-5 DIY it is not a problem considering the low heat but with a purchased grow tent for a 1000w hps will the pvc emit chloride fumes that are harmfull??

~p.s. thank you for your concern and help , i am a previous grower that will be successful in my grow. I am accepting all concerns relating to my grow and please no criticism . (i understand looking at big grow ops that produce pounds are great to look at but i will be there soon. ..very soon! =]~smoke on

I understand and for hydro folks i would agree...My soil makes it easy

  10. Toker2

Toker2 Looking at a hot ass

I dont need a meter for the most part res...I ment decimal point

for those with hydro or those who just want to make it more complicated than it needs be for soil......of course this is my opinion based on real experiences For me, i understand millage may vary

    Peace

I be interested HydroK, really dig seeing new gardens of any size. Hell, Black Prince puts out nice single plants with with a bizarre twist of cfl intensity that always look tasty. Was just sayin' is all about the probe.

    Grow on brotha.
