I know everybody says don't use Miracle Grow, but for right now it's my only option. I have 6 plants that are 1 week into flowering.... My question is about how much should I dilute this **** and how often should I use it?? The NPK is 10-52-10. Thank you for the input.
I don't like the x-x-10 part myself... I dono friend... I'd try it weak at first... Remember to flush often because it's nasty stuff...
There is NO other fertilizer in your area besides miracle grow? You could order good nutrients by mail. miracle grow products are harsh and can make the weed taste crummy (like chemicals).
i couldn't find anything where i live when i went into 12/12 so i just went to walmart and got some Expert Gardner Bloom Burst 10-52-10.......i didn't expect much out of it, but i thought it did ok........i started out at 1/2 strength and it burned them a lil bit but they recovered quick after a flush......then i started again with 1/4 and they did fine
When I was using MG, I diluted to about an eighth of the RD, flushing every-other-or-two. But the taste thing is true. I found it out with tomatoes in the kitchen garden. eg
Mirical grow, It just ant cool. Two reasons. One you wind up smoking it..... not good for the old lungs. Two it isn't ment for eatable or in our instsnce smokeable plants. The best way if you can is to start looking into Fox Farm Grow big and Fox Farm Big Bloom. I have had two awsome harvests using the Fox Farm product line. I HIGHLY recomend it! HIGHLY!! Your freindly neighborehood grower, ZAP
Personally, I've never used it, but I would be sure to be very careful, dilute accordingly, and maybe only once a week with the MG. Guanos work great and don't give you the nasty taste. Your plants are much more delicate during flower (with regards to nutes) than when vegging. I have used chemicals (Dyna Gro) and even that **** can get you in trouble. From what I understand, the MG is worse. Don't forget the big flush at the end, though. Good luck.
QUOTE Two it isn't ment for eatable or in our instsnce smokeable plants. .....then, WHY...pray tell, would they call it a vegetable fertilizer??..."For fruits and vegetables"... MG isn't designed for mj. but it is designed for friut and vegetable gardens...
MIRACLE GROW FOR TOMATOES Formulated for tomatoes & vegetables Complete with all vital trace elements Feeds through roots & leaves My point was, it is formulated for consumables...
Okay, I've used the bloom fortifier big bud from AN and it tasted fine, now tell me using a miracle grow bloom enhancer with the same percentages of NPK how the hell could the Miracle grow taste worse? It doesn't make any sense, it sounds like when you guys used miracle grow in the past you weren't flushing properly, because I have news for you phosphorous, and nitrogen, and potassium they taste the same no matter who packages them, you're paying for marketing which obviously has worked on you.
So then basically, you guys are telling me that I can use it, but sparingly, and flush good and I'll be alright?? Thanks for the help peeps!!
Herbman, Ihave a plant flowering now and I'm using Expert Gardner Bloom Burst 10-52-10..... I'm following the weekly feeding schedual for indoor plants thats 1\4 teaspoon per gallon of water. the plant looks great no burning at all. I'll post pics when she is finished budding.
Well that sounds good I guess, but I made this thread along time ago and I already harvested the plants. Threw that Miracle Grow **** out and went with Fox Farms though!!
if you have to use over the counter stuff (without mail order) use shultz brand it works pretty damn good I currently have a grow going right that is a small project thing and it is doing great on the shultz bloom, will post pics to show you what I mean>>>.
