these ferts dont have all the elements necessary to grow plants--alot of there mixes are impregnated with slow release ferts to maintain plants for like 3 mos after planting --if you use this your way over ferting your plants--flushing will not help--at some point your plants will show signs of over fert--this condition is compuonded by over watering and being wet--if you have this mix you have an elevated number of dissolved solids in the soil which slows water evaporation and will also diminish magnesium availabillity--yer going to lose leafs and some will get spoted--transplant to a soiless mix and try flushing before getting into a nute shedule thats better fer yer plants durring veg-------the last couple weeks of flower you need to flush any and all nutes from the soil-- cant do it if ya have time release ferts in yer mix--bottom line no mirical shit in yer grow people.
I use Miracle-Gro products all the time. Get great results MG Organic Choice potting mix does NOT have time release nutes. Not everybody can get great results but if you pay attention you your plants needs you'll do fine. Just my 2 cents been useing MG for 5 years-Bud
WW, but you are straight up WRONG. Not all Miracle Grow products are time released. I've NEVER burned my plants by simply using MG. You burn your plants from over using the fert, no matter the brand. Just because you had a bad experience with the stuff doesn't mean it can't be used. Any new grower needs to use their ferts sparingly until they learn how to use them right. GO MG!
I think someone, perhaps HC, should do a write up on MJ friendly MG products and their proper use during a grow. I suggest you HC because judging by your avatar and some of your grow shows, you know how it's supposed to be done. I think it would be very helpful for the newbie grower on a budget.
I've been using MG nutes for my first grow, and it's lookin not too shabby! I agree with HC, no matter what nutes you use, you can burn your plants and MG isn't all time released. It's all about watching and "listening" to what your plants need! Has absolutely nothing to do with Miracle Grow... Peace -LM
