This is a clone of a plant that is in the table now. The mother that is in the table is not doing this, neither are any of the others of this plant, only this one clone. I am wondering if this is whorled phyllotaxy.

Kind of whirly at the top...

And the stem is really freaky, it doubled... And why would this happen to this clone and not the others or the mother?

I have had clones do that. Those one leaf fans are weird. that and all the multiple shoots that develop.

I had a purple reign clone do that last year, if you look at 2015 greenhouse it is in there, the bud turns out really weird to.

Or not, 2016 is the only album left, I havent tried getting the others back yet.
Anyway it had twisty condensed areas of white hairs and the bud was huge.

Whorled phyllotaxy is a condition that is genetic in the plant. Stress tends to bring it out.
If it happens with a clone then not abnormal. It will still go to alternating nodes after 6 to 8 nodes of growth.

    It ended up croaking too.
