My first plant ever, is it female?

    first time grower here. would like some input from you pros on my plant in general. and if it looks like a female?
    Its 2 months old 1 week in the 12/12 cycle...

    damn how do i post pics?

    quick reminder about kb sizes.....need compressed b4 uploading.


    quick word of advice....once you have read the thread and are ready to ATTATCH,they may not upload as the size is too big for thumbnails,etc...


    So using microsoft office 2003 go to microsoft picture manager and at the screen click edit then at the bottom right click compress and when it gives you the option...click web documents and then make sure to save...


    It will now be ready to upload.Hope this is a help. :)

    just went in to check it out today and each little bud site has a bunch of white hairs.. man there must be like 40 or more little bud sites.... cant wait

    its 1 week into flowering... thanks for all the info guys... should have a bunch more pics up tomorow night.... 1200.00 nikon dig camara and its blurry up close... this is done in hydroponics also

    It does look from what i can make out , on the positive side, a FEMALE indeed, although it still is a lil early 4 that 2 be absalutely sure....


    Only you'l see that progress in the next few days yourself!¬!!

    Rivvers now you no the signs...if U have others get rid from g/r ASAP...

    Defo agree.Its a girl.This is what i meant Buddomi about telling the signs,etc without flowering for weeks cos Rivvers here defo has a female but what if there are males in that growroom,he's not pulled them yet so chances of pollenation COULD occur.


    Rivvers look closely at the rest of your plants,if they have alternating nodes and those buds growing out of the corners between stalk and stem,then chances are they are your femmes.:love4:


    I usually find that the males show signs B4 the ladies so you should know by now which are which.As Buddomi said:

    If there are other ones that dont look the same then BEWARE:5masked: ,keep a close eye on them and if they are showing any signs of little flowers or even pre-flowers along the stems :evil4: then pull them out the grow room ASAP!Especially if they are not near any fan leaves and nodes.


    You must seperate ANY potential males immediately or if you want to take chances and keep flowering then at least turn off ALL your fans,this isnt a solution,its like plugging the dam with your finger in the hole(meaning it will still happen eventually),you'll only be able to stop the pollentation from taking place for so long.

    that 1st pic you posted is a girl..get rid of the ones that dont show the same signs ASAP.As you can tell im a cautious kinda grower and usually i try my best to pre-determine sex before flowering,you'll learn very quickly the signs to look out for on your plants and alternating nodes is one on the basics along with preflowers and others mentioned by buddomi,UBB,etc on this thread.Happy Growing. :)
