I started a microgrow about a month and a half ago using stacked sterlite containers. I have 252w of CFL lighting @ 18,600 lumens. My one plant has been confirmed female for about 2 weeks now and I only have 22' inches of verticl height to work with.. should I flower now? I should note it was originally jogged but it straghtend out after a transplant and I let it go.
While I think its your call more than anyone on how tall is good enough, I'll leave the advice to a pro , but I am looking forward 2 ur results man! Good luck n peace ~Wizzle
UpdateWell I said screw it, its on 12/12 now. We'll see what happens. This is a pic of it without ducting hoses on it, but you get the idea.Comments welcome. /monthly_2007_03/microgro1.jpg.3012cf7b778ef3a7411ba1515bd51772.jpg
flower, fert w something high in N until week 2 in flower then bunp up P and K like bat/chicken compost.... make sure temps are good and airflow is fresh and light is low.... supercrop when they start to strech and eventually they wil stop growing up and then just blow out.
Dude, that bitch is plenty ready for 12/12! The sooner you flip the switch, the sooner you'll be consuming her
Just a thought but you should have your air intake at the bottem of your box. Your exust fan is probly blowing your fresh air out as fast as it comes in to your box.
Yes, there are some flaws with my design, im going to redo the top crate after this run. When I read the design I erm 'borrowed' from I didn't understand what a passive intake was because there wasn't a picture showing such so twice the volume of intake to me meant 2 intake fans 1 exhaust... however because of the restrictions all 3 fans have put on eachother the big 120mm fan goes slower than the smaller 90mm fans. Should I have 1 intake 2 exhausts instead?? Im really tryin to get those temps down outta the mid to high 80s and I think my design may be overly complex and may just need to take away one of the fans or something.. or i could.. turn them all into intakes and cut holes in the box for passive exhaust.. lol
I had a slight problem tonight.. the lights went out 27 minutes late because the timer got hung up on sometihng... i know how crucial the dark period is for the plants so how can I prevent from going back to veg?? Should I just unplug the timer for 26 minutes and let it get behind??
leave the cycle alone....as long as its not close to an hour- your fine.... dont change anything or disturb them.
I checked it today and it stanked like minty skunk, theres like little tiny things forming that I think may be the first little starts of flowering. Does anybody have a good pic of a plant thats in maybe day 5-7 of flowering??
Here is one of mine at exactly 7 days flowering. Can't really tell much at this point. I might take up to another week to see the sex.
