my setup consists of 21 big containers, with 2 plants in each container, meaning 42 plants. i got 2 1000watt hps bulbs, and im using a pump in my resivoir that when shut off, the water/nute solution that was put into the trays retracts back down into the rezzy. then i got a ozone machine on the ceiling, with my ventalition fan leading to the roof. Then i got air intake coming from the other side of the house. with a homeade baking soda+vinegar co2 creater in front of my fan which blows the plants. tell me wut u think. ALso i forgot the tables hold 7 big cups per hole, meaning 2 plants per cup. but the thing, is i was wondering if i should put some airtablets in the trays, for when it fills up it gives it more oxygen promoting root growth? tell me wut u think Thanks
Hey, sounds like you put alot of thinking into you setup, congratulations, only thing is I would not and have been told and learned the hard way that one of the golden rules is 1 plant per pot, If you plant two they fight with each other and will by either stunted or tall and skinny and fight for the light --- let alone what the roots are doing to each other - for sure go with the air bubblers wherever possible - good luck
well to start with u only want 1 plat in each pot, dont plant 2 they will fight for space as they grow bigger and stronger... Ur basically making more work in the long run. ur lights R nice... Sounds like u know what ur doing with ur set up.. Pics would Help..
i got a setup, if u guys would like to know it. Two 4ft by 4ft tables, holding 16 plants, 1 plant per square foot, and two 1000 watt hps's. Im going ebb and flow, and im going to have a 30 gallon rezzy for both tables, 2 pumps , 1 for each table, and i was wondering wut medium you guys would suggest for this setup, and wut GPH pumps i should get. Also im going to have a 265cfm daytona cage fan, per room (each table in a different room, and ill have a (homemade) carbon filter http://www.overgrow.com/growfaq/1509 and im going to have intake from the outside of the house brought in via under the house. Tell me what you guys think. Thanks (also should i set up a couple air pumps and air stones for each flood tray, on timers so when it floods, the air timers also make a flood/bubble system giving me some more oxygen for my roots. ive got a simple garden that gives me 20 ounces minimum every 8 weeks my freind has the same set up and he has fine tuned his grow to 30-36 ounces in the same time it consists of 3 plants on a 9 foot .by 4 foot table in rockwool slabs with constantly running nutrient tank with 2 6 inch air stones each plant had its own 400 watt hps but ive upgraded now to 600 watters ihave intake and exhuast fans through the day to control temp and a oscolating fan on constant everything is coverd in mylar and the plants are vegged to just over a foot i pinch out the tops the day before flowering and the plants end up just over 3 foot tall and the same width the strain is called c45 and was donated to me by afreind but i have searched and cant find eney info on the strain has eneyone heard of it
