I dropped her off at 5:30 in the morning on the 29th of Nov. at the airport (she's back tomorrow). I had to stay here and watch the garden so I went home and went right to work. She has no clue what I have been up to. She is going to have a Merry Christmas for sure. Before...
And today... New range hood and over head light, tiled floor, stripped, stained and lacquered the cabinets, painted the walls. I am fucking tired.
And one more thing...I'm going to give all of you a pro contractor tip that I'd usually charge big bucks for. That tool you just set down and now cannot find, it's always in the last place you look, I promise.
shit someone is swallowing over that, good job and nice work. my wife wants our kitchen redone, i'm refusing and would rather buy another house lol, last time i did a bathroom it reminded me of how old im getting without help walking out for each tile.
Thanks man, first floor I ever tiled. I looked at a lot of youtube videos. I have one high spot but it's in the corner where I started. It took me a box of tiles (15) before I got the swing of it. Now I have to let it cure up and get a tile saw from HD and finish the rest of it.
