Fuck mylar they have a a better 90% reflective material. It is black on one side and white on the other.

Been using that for about 2 years now and have no problems with it.

The only bad thing about flat paint is once you get it wet or if u put ur dirty hands on it after messin with ur dirt it stains and u cant wash it off. Both work great tho!:passit:

Flat white, im cheap, and its cheap. I have read it only reflects 90%

of the light. But it works for me

Flat white is good. I've been experimenting with red construction paper and plastic because of all those accessories out there for tomato growers that happen to be red.

4 mil mylar is the ultimate IMO, thick and sturdy for sure, dont mess with the paper thin crap, thats what makes a lot of folks hate mylar......the thick stuff is the bomb-dizzle

And id have to say thats for shizzle my nizzle!:passit:

Where is a good place to find the 4 mil?

Hydrofarm makes their own mylar and its 2mil, not 4 mil.....but it feels way thicker than 2mil. I get mine from a local hydro shop around Pittsburgh, NOT HTGsupply thats local to me, thy seem to carry the cheap thin crap. As i get deeper into the grow game Im learning a lot of negatives about HTG, they cut every corner possible for that all mighty dollar, just my opinion

So to answer any questions, HYDROFARM makes the better mylar from what I've found.........I got a 25 ft long roll thats 54inch tall for $24 at my local shop......good luck folks!

I read somthing a while back about covering an ebb n flow tray with red plastic instead of black increasing yield...interesting although I have yet to try it.

I use the 2 mil mylar it works great & both sides are shiny & it makes a big difference in yield. I use spray glue around the edges of the wall & stick it right on no wrinkles .-Bud

Yeah Green Goblin, I dunno if it works or not, though it doesn't seem to be hurting anything. After this season is over I'm going to move toward indoors and maybe for hempy, but I'm a go ahead and build a couple of veg chambers to keep shit going over the winter, and those are going to have the red inlays in them so I'll let you know. I'd preferr to do an experiment with two identical clones or with a strain that I can predict how it should turn out but then if my aunt had balls she'd be my uncle.

I found a product that is like mylar but it is sticky on the back and you can wipe it off. I use that because I have a mildew issue, and it is much nicer to be able to just spray clorox clean-up on it and wipe it down once a week. They sticky back makes it so it will lay on corners and other dips and twists on the walls and reflect the light back on those twists and turns better than mylar. So that is what I use.

No UBB you misunderstood me. Yes clones are always "identical"...genetically if they come from the same plant. I mean Physically, so that I can tell if there's any difference just by lookin.
