Alright guys here is my new grow setup ask all the questions you want and tell me what you think http://patsrsbchamps.overgrow.com
all of the wires are soldered together so there is no chance of a spark when electricity is flwoing. All the wires for the intake are 12v dc computer case fans.
i understand that, but electricity does vibrate... and duct tape does wear out and siting on the Plywood (thats made with glue)like that with a light near it in all close proximity i see a fire hazard. that garden could go up rather quickly.... just be careful. duct tape + heat= goo (Edited by trillions of atoms at 9:28 am on Nov. 4, 2003)
This is very true but the intake setup right now is only temporary.I will be moving the plywood down as the babies get bigger. Thanks for being concerned.
LMFAO@mistical hahahahahahahah And god damn, do i ever know about fire hazards Ditch the duct and get some electrical tape AT LEAST. no matter how much you avoid it, its dangerous, and could put you in prison and out of a home. Think it over man. Sincerely.
I think what Agrow is trying to say is that duct tape has tiny strands of metal in it and conducts electricity. That in itself can be a hazard when used to wrap electrical connections.
@ clarteration mode ............ ohhh...ahh..ok Im back in my chair again. My Q is why nobody's mentioned the hot spots he's gonna get with all that tin-foil wrapped around his grow.....get some mylar, or ever painting it all white would even be better that foil...yes?
yea i wish i knew this earlier, i burned my plants pretty good but i noticed it happening so i tore down the foil and painted the hood white and also lowered the plants
