    all of the wires are soldered together so there is no chance of a spark when electricity is flwoing. All the wires for the intake are 12v dc computer case fans.

    i understand that, but electricity does vibrate... and duct tape does wear out and siting on the Plywood (thats made with glue)like that with a light near it in all close proximity i see a fire hazard. that garden could go  up rather quickly.... just be careful. duct tape + heat= goo

    This is very true but the intake setup right now is only temporary.I will be moving the plywood down as the babies get bigger.

    And god damn, do i ever know about fire hazards :crap: Ditch the duct and get some electrical tape AT LEAST.


    no matter how much you avoid it, its dangerous, and could put you in prison and out of a home. Think it over man. Sincerely.

    the duct was removed as i neede to transplant the babies out of the small cups, pictures yet to come

    I think what Agrow is trying to say is that duct tape has tiny strands of metal in it and conducts electricity. That in itself can be a hazard when used to wrap electrical connections.

    My Q is why nobody's mentioned the hot spots he's gonna get with all that tin-foil wrapped around his grow.....get some mylar, or ever painting it all white would even be better that foil...yes?

    yea i wish i knew this earlier, i burned my plants pretty good but i noticed it happening so i tore down the foil and painted the hood white and also lowered the plants
