Hey CG, yea there are 10 plants. Stoner moment. asssit: skunky, Hps are in. I'm still going to be using the LEDs I'll be purchasing some of the newer designed LEDs with a wider foot print so all the table has great coverage. I'm sold on the LEDs and will still be using them.
Half LED, Half HPS Heres a nice twist to nip the led verses hps in the but! Half the table is covered in LEDs the other half a 400 watt HPS.. This should be good.
Could just be the angle of the shot but the LED side looks like they haven't stretched as much as the HPS side...
ducrider, the two gsc at the end of the table under the HPS side have the most stretch already before the half and half was set up. I'm looking forward to comparing trichome production on both sides of the table. I'm thinking this we show the difference at the end of flower. :redbong:
Most of the fan leaves are gone and the lights are out. I took a quick shot. The bud production is coming along nicely. :redbong:
tuned in on this, hows the buds filling out between the two? how much area do have those LEDs covering and how high? Trying to fine tune some of the same units
Plants are going to be at 4 weeks of flower this weekend. Not really any difference yet but by week 5 and 6 we should be able to tell differences by then. This is a 9 to ten week strain. We shall see. :bong-2:
See now I was thinking just the opposite disco. I think the 3 onyx LED's are equivalent to a 600hps & will prevail over the 400w hps. I don't think anyone here is as consistent grow after grow as Mr GJ so this is probably the best comparison we've seen to date. asssit: Duc
It's hard for me to compare the last grow because all the planys were full of seeds so a lot of energy went into seed production. No seeds this time. :coolbounce:
Dxe I should end up with about a pound or more after all dried and cured. No bad for plants I flowered at 12 to 14 inches.
Looks great Mr G!!:good job: But I think the LED side will produce a little more. My thinking is that the narrow footprint of the LED won't shed much light on the HPS side. But the wider footprint of the HPS will add light to some of the LEDs plants. The plants in the middle of the table seem to have far less stretch because they're getting the overlap light from both sources. Just a thought. Be Cool, CG
Boy is it hard to get a picture with lights off that is clear. This is at 4 weeks. still got 5 more weeks to go.
