6 weeksQuick shot with lights out.
The girls are 6 weeks into flower. They have 3 more weeks till harvest time.
This is a whole table shot with LED and HPS on.
These first four shots are from the LED side
These shots are from the HPS side.
6 weeks floweringGirls are six weeks into flour three weeks to go to harvest
6 weeks flower6 weeks. Other side of table
How many watts LED is that?
Disco, There are three LED units over half the table. There is 225 watts per unit, that's 675 eats with less heat. with CREE's newest 10W XM-L2 warm white LEDs to emit ~2700-3000K with large amounts of red light.
Hers a shot of the whole table tonight.
So it's taking the extra 275 watts on the LED side to produce the same roughly?
I normally run a 600 W covering one half of the table and a 400 W covering the other half. The only problem with the LED units is they have a narrow band of light. A smaller footprint so to speak. I have the LED units just close enough to each other so there's no loss of light hitting the plants. The biggest difference is the plants under the LEDs look like they're ready at least a week ahead of schedule the H PS side looks on the normal schedule.
I can see what you mean, now. This side by side tells me that LEDs are getting there!
Yes LEDs ate definitely there. Looking great MrG
correct me if I'm wrong, but you are only an extra 75 watts on the left as opposed to the right.
Killing it as usually. Is it possibly to get a shot like the above without lights on to have both sides under the same light (from flash)
And I think those things have a little larger (but not ideal) footprint. I have a couple nugs hanging on all my outers buckets not directly under the light but still comparable to the ones that are.
I gotta order a new light, prob will tomorrow. Sold on the led, while I don't think they out preform HPS, I think they hold their own and are equal to hps. That being said there's numerous advantages to LED...low heat being the biggest. We all know how big of a pain it is to cool a room, specially if limited head height with hps
I thought he was running a 400w HPS and 675 LED.
