So, who is the founder of this site? Would that be you Mr G? From the members that I am familiar with I think it would have been you or Mr Astro, not sure why I think that. Y'all just seemed like the most passionate about this site. No reason for asking, Just wondering, might not be my businesses.
From my limited knowledge this site has a generous benefactor who lets MrG run it. They remain relatively anonymous. We all owe our thanks to this person.

History of GK. In the beginning there was smoke, and it was good. The web was a tangle of competing cannabis websites with conflicting ideals and poor information on how to attain smoke of the proper kind. Nah...... A guy, Webby, wanted a place he could hang out and promote his product and ideals, Vapor Brothers and a love of growing cannabis. Concept GK. There has been a revolving door of support staff (mods) and contributors over the years since GK's inception. The most notable have left their mark in the Administration discussions about the direction GK should take and in the archives of cannabis knowledge we call the FAQ, the Forums and stickies. Along with our membership, these people are the heart of GK and what makes the entire damn thing work. Admin has been a much slower revolving door. The only two GK Adminstators of true import have been Herbsparky, or Herb, and MrGreenjeans. I would also add Snicklefritz. Although not an Administrator per se, without Snick there would have been a much less productive Herb. Ownership has still remained Vapor Brothers. From the onset until current they have been the benefactor that pays all bills related to the operation and maintenance of GK. This relationship is signified by Webby's rare instances of input or cooperation with the day to day running of the site. For Admin, Webby is the hand of god that can cast all asunder at will. Many of us working to maintain, or further, GK's presence view this is as a gift. Vapor Brothers has given us (it's member based volunteers) a free playground to develop ideas, chronicle developments, call out bullshit and further online cannabis culture and causes as we see fit. As a benefactor Vapor Brothers allows free reign by GK Admin over content, design and subject matter. That's why persons who have served GK closely may appear the be the actual site owners, they're passionate and involved.
