    Hey GKers,
i recently put my tiny clones outside, and i took them from inside directly outside, so they wern't broken in to the weather. Some were really small, but they survived the rain and the harsh winds. The thing is, i planted them june 1st(10 days ago) and i havent seen much growth yet. They are healthy looking, except for all the holes insects are putting into them. Also, there is no serious yellowing, but they havent grown vertically yet. i can see a few leaves coming out but slowly. A few days ago i also fertilized them, which seemed to make them stronger, but i didnt see the usual "growth spurt" that ferts give. I used PRO MIX SOIL, and kept it as moist as possible. It gets excellent sun all day long. Will i see vertical growth soon? is the growth slowing down because of the insects??
    thanks for the help!!

-The soil shouldn't be "as moist as possible".

-You need to protect them from insects.

-They might be suffering from shock from the sudden change.

I know, but like i said the sun get them all day so the soil dries out quick. It probably is shock, but how long until i see new growth?? and how can i protect them from bugs?? Will a simple dish ditergent and water mixutre take care of the problem??

There is info in FAQ on how to combat pests, and many threads in the grow forums that deal with that subject too.

Were your clones fully rooted when you set them outside?

Yes they were ranger, they were in cubes and i could already see roots coming out of the bottom of that..

I read that soap and water spray will work...do you agree?
