That's too funny. I used orchid ferts then a specific african violet fert in my very first gardens for the exact same reasoning. Can't remember how they worked out but it must have been ok since i know there was weed to toke at the end.

Various stages of spider mite damage on the Kentucky Wonder beans. I grew these once before and the same thing happened. Also, I've probably only had 20 beans total all season. Don't really mind about that because I only grew these as a sight blocker to the other garden.
This is how peanuts grow, when it flowers a peg comes out of each flower and grows into the ground and then the peanut grows on that. Not having high hopes for these as I only see a few of these pegs. The peanuts are right next to the beans and not a mite to be found on them.
The watermelons are done. I've been letting the vine die off and sometime this week ill pick the melons and turn the vine into the ground. I plan to have some clones of superglue in that spot by mid august.
Same time last year, man was I burned out on growing. It's a wonder my harvest lasted as long as it did.

Yep, my ass is hurting pretty bad right now from the kicking. I'm taking a trip to SFO tomorrow and plan on swinging by harborside health and see what clones they have. They carry a lot of dark hearts gear and I'm hoping for a sherbert. I'd grow that again for sure. I'm starting to go on the other end of the spectrum this year. I'm amassing quite the little stable.

SFO was fucking crazy today! It took me 1 hour and 10 minutes to get out of the financial district and onto the bay bridge, a total of 4 blocks. We started down at the waters edge... To get up to the top of this hill... To get on the damn bridge that was right next to us... So we did this on the way up...
