Yeah so I'm noticing that the nodes on my plants are growing very close together. Not saying it's a problem necessarily but has anyone else experienced this and can you tell me why this might be?
I had a problem kinda like yours. My buds were huge and thicker then fuck and when smoked it got my high as fuck. Boy i tell ya 1 problem after another.
Some strains grow nodes extremely tight together. I have one going now, called Rx. The nodes were spaced the length of my pinky nail. The biggest space was the diameter of about a penny. The reason is almost purely genetic. If you were indoor, I would say different types of lighting support tighter nodes, but you're outside. You are growing a strain that is very highly indica dominant, or purely indica. The fan leaves on these plants have very fat fingers correct? Do a yahoo search on the difference between Indica and Sativa.
Nah man, 4 Sativas, 1 Indica. The one I'm referring to is a Sativa. BTW what kind of lighting supports that kind of growth? Because I know that most people will say it should only be HPS and MH/Floros, but I kinda feel like it might be better to get myself a full spectrum bulb for indoor. I think that the plant probably uses UVA and UVB to a point. NOTHING BEATS NATURAL SUNSHINE BRO.
But the sun isn't full spectrum all year long. When moving into Autumn and winter, your area of the globe is moving away from the sun so it elongates all the light spectrum so you get more red range. When moving into spring and summer, you are getting closer to the sun and all the spectrum compresses and you get more blue range.
