when you quick dry your bud to try it in the oven at 150-200 degrees...do you break up the bud into little pieces like if your going to roll it up in a blunt or leave it in a bud?.... anyways anyone who uses this quick dry method let meknow...or if you have some other method that dries the weed in less than like 2 hours post your methods..
quick drying is a last resort. if i have to use buds before drying them id rather extract the thc into some milk than smoke them. the chlorophyll taste is awful. that said it will probably dry better broken up. i have dried buds in the oven on a paper bag and have used the microwave method. you can put it in the microwave next to a bowl of some absorbant material (plain cat sand works, no odor or ammonia of any kind) or wrap it in paper towels and then put it in for 30 seconds to a minute at a time. ive heard that food dehydrators also work very good for drying bud quickly and it comes out tasting better than the microwave or oven, tho it may take a little longer, overnight or something. if i remember correctly it was rastadub who had the good point last time this came up to only quick dry a little for smoking now and save the rest for a slow dry. you'll be glad you did. this is really the most important step and to rush it by not drying properly is a crime. vaporizers also work great with non-dried bud.
I have used that microwave method before, and it does work, But, nothing beats the full dry/cure method..Closet drying for a week is the way to go..Then the final cure(mason jar)...However,I know how it is.Iam no Angel.Drying and then curing marijuana is the best way of going about things..You have to treat bud like fine wine..The longer you wait, the sweeter it gets.. when i harvested my outdoor crop i dried most of it by hanging it in my closet with the fan on low and the dehumidifier on real low too. Great results the **** tastes excellent and i just jarred it up last night. I did try to speed up the process with a little bit o' bud . The dehydrator method sucks balls. dont do it man. just hang that **** up and wait.
If you are gonna spend the time to grow nurture and love them, then at least respect it enough to give it the time to dry and cure.You dont want to waste your hard efforts now do you?Its hard but worth it.
lol cg and his fine wine.. cg some people dont have 2 pounds of dro laying arround their house, some people cant wait to try their own ****..lol..yo i did that oven drying broken up and omg that **** was a good high.. and it was not harsh!!!! i cant wait to try it when it dries slowly..and it was a cool high not a parranoid high like i get from other kinds of dro.. minez is kush x humbolt skunk #1 its called pog = pot of gold... now all i need is a fuucking tempered glass so my temps drop down from 98 to atleast 75 degrees.. but for some reason my buds are still growing under the 1000 watt light even with all that heat.. withthe closet door opened and a stand up fan blowing air in its at 85 degrees..
yo mini ive had Humbolt **** before... i dunno of itys the same as your humbolt but.. theres a college a bit far from L.A. in Humbolt (Humbolt Univ.) i drove down thre to buy bud cause i heard the atmosphere there is perfect for growing(somthing about the ions....) any way i hook up ounces there for 80 bucks and man its doesnt get cheaper athan that....some bom ass ****..\\ i might have tried some pog' cause i smoked with peoples there...
