Kind of short article, though. 2 men arrested for growing marijuana in Tokyo office building Friday 12th November, 07:54 AM JST TOKYO — Police have arrested two men for allegedly growing hundreds of marijuana plants in a commercial building in Itabashi Ward, Tokyo. Police said they seized 670 plants and 2.2 kg of harvested marijuana in what they called a “cannabis factory” that covered the building’s 330-square-meter fifth floor. The suspects are Yoshiaki Akakura, 33, and Tetsuya Nakano, 28. They were arrested Tuesday on suspicion of violating the Cannabis Control Law. According to police, the two rented the space in the Takashimadaira district for 650,000 yen a month.
