ok ok, this is some hillarious ****(how bad the us is at lieing, and changing face when thier shown to be lieing).. well..sorta.. First.. IRAQ reports that they have POWS, and have footage of american soldiers killed.. which the US replies that thier full of **** pretty much, and that noone was missing, then, a few hours later, iraq shows the soldiers on tv, stating thier name, home, and military ID's, lol.. so then the US changes thier story to "Fewer then 10" are missing.. lol

 

its not a surprise!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

How would they know if they hadnt seen the footage first? Are they just supposed to believe it without proof, on the good word of the iraqi government? LMAO

 

They could have simply told the truth and said "we'll get back to ya"

Theyve just shown CNN footage which displays some of the American POWs were in fact executed by the Iraqi military......This makes the Iraqis involved war criminals having gone against the Geneva convention article 13 concerning POWs...

 

Your an idiot ranger. The footage had the peoples faces and saying thier names, hometowns, social security numbers and the fact that they were MECHANICS, not even soldiers. It was proof.

The never said they didnt know, thier first statment, was that noone was missing from "our" side, then they wait untill the iraqi goverment shows the footage, till they finnaly have to back pedal.. You need to have something more of substance than the fact that they provide services for our enemies to discredit them. If you state the issue of showing US pow's, think about the pictures that have been coming back from the front as we have been taking Iraqi pow's. Our footage is most certainly being edited for content to suit US tastes and even the sight of taking an unruly prisoner, as professional as it may take place, won't be shown. "Wouldn't play in Peoria" as they say. What any media outlet is going for is profits, pure and simple. The exception may be Al Jazira with their funding from Qatar, I believe. I thought that Qatar was one of our allies?

 

There military men, not soldiers. They dont man tanks and guns, the fix tanks and guns. There just as important and thier lives are just as valuable. The point im trying to make is how Iraq does not discriminate against people when it comes to killing and torturing POW's. Iraq has broken the geneva convention twice so far with these POW's.


Mama, sorry, but those taliban fighters are not considered POW's, there considered Illegal combatants because there not government soldiers, there terrorists. The taliban is not a government.

No they werent. Only 1 country recognized them as a government. Pakistan. No other country in the world recognized them, even the so-called government of the world, the UN didnt even see them as a government. It was a self-proclaimed government. They moved into afghanistan and took over. Thats not a government, thats a hostage situation.
