Is it possable for a young plant only 4 weeks old to show it's sex in 18/6 ? i got white hairs comin out of the node area? is it preflowering on me ?( by the way nodes are alternated (4 sets) , i am just about to start the 12/12 cycle ,,, the plant is just about 12 inches ,,,, and i noticed the white hairs comin out the bud area is that a good sign ? is it a female ? only one hair each side ,, i took a loop to it ,,and it is a white hair, only one on each side.... also no sign of balls at all ,,,,, but i am still on 18/6.till the weekend ...thanks for any info guys.
The plant is not preflowering on you unless you start to notice several (a clump looking)batch of hair like material coming from the top and/or sides of the plant,which is the start of bud growth. From what your describing is the sign that you are getting a femal, That is what females look like. Are you going to put it in 12/12 soon?
Yes i got to put it in a bigger pot first ,,,the damn thing is growin at such a fast rate ..So you think it is a female huh? Coolas hell . also im gonna try my first clone of a plant that i already flowered ,,,,wish me luck i really don't know all the in's and out's of that prosses even after reading the faqs,,, it still is difficult to understand.
But in cloning does your clone have to be a certain size cause i was thinking abut 3 1/2 inch clone huh? would that be long enough?
