Hey guy's i just finished my first grow mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm Damn best smoke i ever =ever had. it was a total success, the only thing was i had it in to small a pot ,only got a oz. out of it all, Anyways. what I need to know is ,my plant is only about 2 1/2 feet tall . i put my baby back on a 24 hr light schedule.. it is starting to show leafs at the bottom already but not so much at the top yet is this normal ?? it's been about two weeks scence i switched the lights back to 24 and is showing good growth on the bottom will it start to show on the top soon ??,,, i trance planted it into a 5 gallon bucket with holes cut out the bottom ,, people told me that it will grow big in a bigger pot .. another thing is ,,,,,will the bud be as strong and tasty as the first time i flowered? will it be as potent ?? some say that if you re-veg to many times it loses potency.....will i be o.k ?? (this is only the second time) how many times do you re-veg until it loses the strenth of the stone [IMG] thanks guy's you rule ...

You can go back into flower when you see multi finger leaves again . Any time you feel you have sufficient new growth and the plant is producing normally .

In answer to your question on potency , it will be the same .

But you will be producing lots of smaller buds , on tons of bud sites . You need to plan ahead and be prepared to do some training in order to achieve a flat canopy . Otherwise you are gonna have a lot of shaded buds .

MOst would agree (I think) that after you get this plant back into a good veg state you should take some cuttings and get them rooted . That's assuming this is an exeptional plant and you want to keep it going .

Re-veg isn't the best route to go in most folks opinion , including mine . And I have done it . To save a plant that some dummy (me), missed getting cuttings from it's an option , but as a general growing strategy re-veg is not economical in comparison to clones , hands down .

Hope that helps , Strato .

I re-veg quite often... I use this technique when I have found a particularly strong plant that I did not take seeds from. Therefore, I look at it as backtracking... usually takes about one 4weeks before I put her back under 12/12, plus 8-10 weeks for flowering.

    I agree with Strato also

I will not regenerate a plant again, unless I want alot of clones from the same plant.

I ended up giving 1 of the plants in that pic on the link to my step dad, he spent 2 hours manicuring it to get 2ozs. Just a bunch of little buds

BTW.... I reveged it for 28 days plus I got 20 clones off the both of them before they went back into flower, now as far as potency alittle bit better because of a longer flower time frame.

    my 2 cents

Boy, am I glad that I read this stuff.

The books I read said that re-vegging after flowering reduces potency & the vitality of the plant. The explanation was that the stress of flowering combined with the stress of re-vegging drains the plant. He likened it to taking copies of copies of copies. Eventually the latest copies lose a lot of definition.

However, I will always take the word of EXPERIENCED growers over a book. Especially the esteemed growers here. :ebert:

Thanks for correcting a misconception of mine.

    I LOVE this place.
