My second to last hammie has passed (hamster). I still have her dad who is going for the world record (he is a SIX year old syrian hamster). Lumionie is a little special because she was very tame and because my niece emptied the catbox for months in order to "borrow" Lumionie until she was sick of her (it took one month lol). So I recently took her back. My niece named her, we are both Harry Potter fanatics (we saw the movie the day before it came out b/c she is a girl scout and I made it to the top level so I took her, she is just about to turn 11. We won multiple trivia prizes during the previews they were giving out, together we took 5 of 15. Anyways, she named Lumionie as a mix between Luna and Hermionie from HP, when we went to see it I was Luna and she was Hermionie. I know she is just a hamster but every pet is special to me and she will now be at rainbow bridge with the multitude of pets I have and her body will be buried in my parents backyard which could now be classified as a pet cemetary. Trust me Canna I know how you feel about a loss of a pet!!! Hamster, cat, dog any pet lost is reason to be sad. Peace and love to you.....
