oops, I meant Live Wire. I remember you talking about it in chat the other day. Well it's in stores here now. The taste is similar to your average Orange Soda, but it's a little less potent, considering the smell is very strong. My Rating: 5 / 10 . If we wanted an orange soda we'd buy Sunkist or Crush, which has a stronger orange taste. And we'd save some money, since Coke and Pepsi like to be the high priced sodas. Kind of a disapointment especially after I thought Code Red was a bust. I really like the "Livewire" soda. I like the fact that it's not too strong. I don't especially like the Orange Crush/Sunkist. They are too orange tasting for me. I also love the "CodeRed", which I go through at least a case of it a week. I know I shouldn't drink so much soda, but since I quit drinking booze, I really enjoy my soda. Hope you enjoy it Clay. Peace clones!
Well, I guess there's a taste for everyone. And it's good to see the giants making more options for us, although so far none of em have impressed me. But I'm being arrogant I guess. Code Red is ok, but I was hoping for something a little different. I figured backed with the name Mountain Dew that it was be as good if not better than regular MTN Dew. But really they just made a cherry soda and a orange soda. Stuck Mtn Dew on it to sell it. I really miss Crystal Pepsi. I used to drink the hell out of it. I remember it in Colorado right before I left there in 92, and it came out in Tucson, AZ shortly after I moved there. Then it just disappeared entirely. oh well, I guess there's always water. I don't like the taste of alcohol so I just drink soda, and get stoned! (Edited by ClayStreet at 1:45 pm on May 12, 2003)
I was when I read CG's reply. Than I read Chop's reply and I almost fell on the floor of my shack.I almost decided to go organic, till I saw the way CG's brain is accepting the change. Needless to say, I'm gonna do some further tests to determine the validity of the organic myth. I have a team of scientists working around the clock to evaluate the exact advantages of CG's organic mixture. Could he have sniffed some of the Seabird guano? I hear that will cause various fatal sideaffects! Anyway, I will keep you all informed on the progress of my research. Peace clones!
Does your scientific team consist of cousins Billy Bob, Tammy Joe, Dale Bob, Betsy Bob and Myrtle? We all know at least Myrtle could smell guano inside a pair of boots from down the street. And Dale Bob uses some of that to get his infamous moonshine a little more "kick". How is old Betsy Bob doing these days? Remember that old time she fell into a wishing well, while she was pullin that snapping turtle off of her fishin line? Man that sucker was big! Her Pa Cletus Bob laughed so hard he swallowed his tobaccy, and we had to get him to the Clanton's for an emergency triple bypass through his testicles.
Clay, that information is on a need to know basis. And unless your in on the Green Clan, you don't need to know.I could tell you all about them, but then I'd have to have you killed. You can contact a Green Clan Represenative at 420-GET-HIGH.Plaese leave a message, cuz we rarely hear the phone over our screams of joy. Peace clones!
I just got some of that Live-Wire today...it's good, but it's so different from other orange sodas... Tastes a bit like orange, a bit like tang, and a bit like those energy drinks. It definitely has that energy-drink vitamin aftertaste. But it's unique. Drank my 2-litre already. Clay, Crystal Pepsi! Right on, I remember that stuff. That's when Pepsi was in it's prime, with the You Got The Right One Baby, Uh-Huh motto. Remember that? And they always had contests with letter on the bottom of the cans (inside) to spell stuff out. Ahh those were the days...
