room size

    NEED ADVICE I AN BUYING A 3X4 FLOOD SYSTEM BOX AND A 400 MH LIGHT THE SHOP OWNER TOLD ME THE ROOM HAS TO BE A LEAST 6X6 , BUT I WANT TO BUILD A ROOM BIG ENOUGH TO HOLD THE TABLE I GUESS IT WOULD BE A CLOSET BECAUSE I LIVE IN A VERY COLD HOUSE . WHAT DO YOU THINK IS BETTER AND I PLAN TO GROW IN ROCKWOOL I AM NEW TO INDOOR

    Take your caps off, its equivilent to yelling here in virtual world.


    The room can be any size you want it to be. The room can be as small as the table is, but remember you will need to move around in there, around the the table to check on things, etc...A 400 watt light is optimal for an 8 sq. ft. room. A 3x4 hydro table is 12 sq. ft. You should get a 600 watt HPS light for the table you are buying. Rockwool is a fine medium. Make sure to pre-soak it prior to use.
