NEW YORK - Police stopped a driver for running a red light and discovered more than 500 pounds of marijuana inside his minivan, authorities said on Monday. Clement Hunter, 30, was awaiting arraignment on Monday following his arrest on drug charges, authorities said. Hunter ran a red traffic light in the city's Queens borough early on Sunday morning and tried to evade police for several blocks, police said. When he was pulled over, the 513 pounds of marijuana stuffed into large garbage bags was partly visible inside his minivan, police said. He faces 50 counts of felony possession of marijuana as well as charges of reckless endangerment and fleeing officers. The source of the marijuana and Hunter's destination were still under investigation, police said.

I guess the one thing to look at is if there are that stupid of people out there then we should be safe, doesn't shit flow the easiest route? I hate even taking more then a couple rolled up doobs (easy to eat if necessary), a pipe I never if possible take with me, I love my pipe and dont want to lose it. and I can't eat it.
He ran a red light? What kind of stupid fucker runs a red light while hauling 500 lbs of dope? I dont even feel sorry for him! Im serious...there's no excuse for that kind of stupidity. He was probably high at the time. There are just a few things in life that REQUIRE being totally STRAIGHT....and I suggest, hauling weed just may be one of them, for cryin out loud. He would not have to blow smoke at LEO. 500lbs of pot has a smell of its own. Once he rolled down the window to sign the ticket, I'm sure the LEO got a big nose-full.
