The shooting death of Tarika Wilson by police. This is getting too close to friends and family, as the LEO up there, are bustin' doors, everynight. I got people up that way, alot like me. The source was my buddy first, then the website; Drug war rant.com I didn't link it. On Jan. 4, 2008, a Lima Police Department SWAT team officer fatally shot Tarika Wilson, a 26-year-old mother of six, and injured her 1-year-old son, Sincere Wilson. Lima Police Chief Greg Garlock said officers knew they were entering a "high-risk" situation with a good chance there would be children inside 218 E. Third St., Lima, to find 31-year-old Anthony Terry. Still, they decided to go forward with the nighttime raid just after 8 p.m. Friday. The result was deadly. LIMA — Ohio’s top crime fighter vowed Wednesday his agency will conduct a thorough investigation in the shooting death of a mother by a Lima Police Department SWAT team officer earlier this month. “Truth and justice will serve as our guiding principle throughout the investigation,” Ohio Attorney General Marc Dann said as he spoke to members of the community at Veterans Memorial Civic Center. Dann refused to answer any specific questions about the case saying he wanted to ******* the integrity of the investigation. He said the entire investigation would be public record for all to see after the case is over and only spoke of the procedure his agents would follow during the investigation. “I came here today to look everyone in the eye … and tell them that our job here is to pursue justice,” Dann said. I would like to offer another perspective.; Dave Doddridge, of L.E.A.P. (whatever that is? In Lima, as elsewhere, drugs are a problem. But drugs aren’t the problem. The problem is the War on Drugs. When you have a war, someone must be the enemy. Police are often pitted against nonviolent citizens. Tragedies occur. Families are broken up and lives are ruined more often by the justice system than by the drugs themselves. Seven percent of black children have at least one parent in the prison system instead of at home. The federal government is building a new prison every month to house the influx. With 5 percent of the world’s population and 25 percent of the world’s prison population, something is going terribly wrong. Some $60 billion to $100 billion are wasted on this failure every year. The War on Drugs is a leviathan, pitting government against its people, corrupting citizens and officials alike. Prohibition increases crime and offers obscene profits to drug dealers, builders of prisons, winners of drug wars, and government agencies ostensibly set up to fight the “war.” The answer is obvious. Re-legalize and regulate drugs. Make it the medical and social problem that it is, and put our police back to working for the people. After putting hundreds in jail myself and watching no effect on the amount of drugs on the ******, I came to the conclusion that we must take the profit motive away from the dealers.
The problem is, where do you draw the line? Legalize weed, sure, but most of the violent crimes occur because of the harder drugs. They can't very well legalize shit like crack, heroin, or meth. That's where most of the drug deaths occur, violent and otherwise. Of course then you add some gun-happy dipshit cop that has been pushed around all of his life and thinks he has some license to kill now that he has a little authority and a big gun. Yes somebody is going to get killed. A gun happy cop in West Memphis, Arkansas, no less, shot a 12 year old kid with a bag of chips and a soda. The cop claimed the kid had a gun. It was a high crime area and I think some of those assholes just want to kill somebody. :BangHead:
Oh, I hear ya' I don't hate on cops, just because they are cops. They eat alot of shit from people, everyday. I try to be a man of reason. The female was leaning over, holding the baby ( shades of Ruby Ridge.) the SWAT team kicked/knocked whatever the door open. Made a "snap," choice, and shot the woman as she held the child. The also like to shoot dogs in Lima, as they did in this deal. They were stupid pets, running FROM them. Lima used to have factories and a refinery. They are all gone. The town, is just like Flint Michigan in that M.MOORE flick, "Roger 'n Me." They have to compete to work at Burger King. I'm not joking. Of course, crack, meth, shit like that, mixed in with poverty, just don't go down. It's a bad recipe They are breaking down doors, everynight. My buddy, has a little thing just for friends and family, no traffic in and out. In the last month, several of HIS bud's have had their doors knocked down, and, yes, they shot the dogs. This fellow, was more of a comercial thinking guy, but still not scar face. He told my guy, when they came in, he had 4,000. and a pile of bunk. The only wrote him, for 500.!!! and a fraction of the mj, too! HA! :evil4: I had NO idea as to much of this, until I called my guy today, to make some long range plans. His long range plans, are to get out. One night, he knows it will be HIS door. He can feel it coming. :5masked: :5masked: :5masked: :5masked: "Freeze, Punk!" wow!
I'm not a cop hater per se, but I hate those gun-happy fuckers, fresh from the academy. They were always bullied in school and decide it's their turn to be the bully. The gun in his holster says so. I'm almost betting that's the same kind of cop that's in on this. I mean, aren't police supposed the exercise certain precautions where children are involved? And: What the hell is going on in Flint? :qright6: Their murder rate is like 5 times higher than a city that size. I was researching crime rates last night and just happened to find the statistics on Flint. I'll take my chances in this small little town I call home. :icon_eek:
Second shift cops are the noobs. You are correct, some of them have chips on the shoulder. I know of what you speak. If SWAT swang through my window right after I typed this; I'd shut the fuck up, go face down on the floor, and put my hands on my back. I don't have a dog to shoot, but I've got kids. I won't say if I have a gun or not, but if I did, I don't walk around the house with it in my pockets. Flint Michigan, use to have a GM plant, and several suppliers and such. Before GM closed the plants in the 80's it had a good thing going, funded by those good jobs. You can't get a job there doing anything, 'cause no one has any money. Anyone that COULD leave, has. Lima Ohio; same boat. People are huslin' to get a buck. Some are pimpin' some ho'n some growin' and some cookin.' I go up there, to make transactions 1 or 2 times a year with my homes, and THE WHOLE TOWN IS HIGH ON SUMTHIN' Hell, some of the fuzz might be? They all have that desperate empty look, like people living on the ******. Newark, NJ is alot like both of these. Idle hands, are a devils workshop.
I agree with second shift cops, dude. I had some neo-Nazi fuck give me all kinds of shit one night. I drove to my favorite part of town and all I wanted to do was walk around a little, you know, just thinking. I left the dome light on in the car and when I got back there was a cop looking the car over. He grilled me like a steak. I was completely legal, just left my dome light on. I finally told him to either take me to jail or leave me the fuck alone. I could tell the type.
Here goes a real picture, of a guy I met in Iraq last year. He had this picture on his portable hard drive, and I stole it because you can't fake something so funny. He was some self appointed 'hood watch guy when he was a kid. His mom n' dad bought him the scooter. He's a cop with less than 5 years on. COPS ARE DIFFERENT KINDS OF PEOPLE, MAN.
Only a cop would think they're a bad ass upholding the law riding around on that thing. I don't have anything against them, hell, my cousin is a cop and I know a couple of them from my job that are pretty cool dudes.... But, they are a different breed.... A different way of thinking.
Yeah, I swore to that dude that I wouldn't post this picture on the web. My word was good for a couple years, but how could I resist forever :laughing5:
OOh, but he's sooo cool! :sarcasm: ......:love4: I just love the studly bicycle, er...SCOOTER, Lol....The light is the purrrr-fect touch...."That's HOT." LOL......:laughing5: You know, though...It's scary that a good percentage of beat cops are already stressed out, poorly paid, spit on,(?:icon_confused: ),etc....all they need is one more little thing to hit the breaking point....and they get a gun, goin' after a baddie, and it's like a chain reaction...split second decisions are not always the best ones.....:icon_confused: It's not like T.V., where they all talk nice and calm and the dude lets the lady go, and then they pop him in the leg so he can't run.....:tvlaugh: But they had to have known from investigations that this residence had women and children in it...Why not wait for him to go to the store or something? Now 6 kids are going to grow up without a mother, and a hell of alot of resentment......
I've had some cops cut me some breaks, I always give them a chance. When I was, oh, somewhere around my early twenties, I was sitting in my cool ass VW Rabbit, me and my main cat parked down by the river, eating speed, sharing a gallon of boones farm ( hey, people CHANGE man.) singing out loud to some Doors music, with like at least 2 oz of weed in a bag. The cop snuck up on us, it was easy as loud as we were singing. He found the nasty wine, found the sack of weed, and the pipe we were just lighting. He made us get out of the car, put our hands on the hood, ran our id's to see if we had any outstandings. We came back clean, the guy fucked with us for about twenty miutes or so, wanting to know if we thought it was gay to be two dudes hanging out together, were we dating? he smelled the weed, told us it was crap. (it was some brown ass seedy brick weed.) gave us ALL our shit back, weed included, and told us to get our gay asses out of his park. We shut the fuck up, said "thanks," and got out of his park. I didn't mind the gay crap, I'm comfortable in my sexuality, he actually was kinda' funny, anf he couldv'e really stuck it in our ass for a sack that big. Not all cops are complete asses, but some are.
I have never in my whole fucking life had a good experience with a cop. Half of them would arrest their own sister if she put her sanitary napkin on sticky side up. They're scared of the most dangerous places, so they sit somewhere safe and fuck with a guy smoking a joint, or a drunk woman jay walking. I don't respect them and every cop on the force that has dealt with me will tell you that. That's the way they roll in my village.
