hey guys. my plants are 3 weeks into bloom, blueberry and skywalker, they look amazing and they are covered already in crystals if u can believe it. unreal shit going on here. but when i put my nose rite up to the buds, all i can smell is shit. legit shit. it smells like poop. wtf? is that just because its just starting to get ripe? or is it from the soil? or is it just the common skunk smell i smell which honestly smells like shit? any ideas?
about that time in flowering the buds themselfs should give off a very light "weedy" smell if not just smell like a tomato plant. It seems to me that (especially with tasty strains like those : ) ) it must be the soil/nutes/something else causeing it
What the hell you feeding those things? If you use fish emulsions you are probably just getting the smeel from the soil. I've never had a plant that smelled like waste. Seems you can pretty much divide the smell of a flowering plant into a few groups sweet, spicey, sour, piney, or earthy(smeels like before a rain).
So your saying your plants smell like SHIT every harvest? Now lets get this straight does it smell like SHIT or a Skunk? Those are two very different things. I would rather a skunky smell over the smell associated to a portapotty, now that smells like shit!
well I figures out the fox farm products I am using (ocean forest, light warrior) contain fish emmulsions also the whole line up grow big, big bloom, tiger bloom, open sesame, beastie blooms, cha ching, all contains fish emmulsions so I guess that is what I am smelling right now. It may be a little more on the skunky side as a couple of u suggested. Ill let you know in a couple weeks if it changes. Ne other thoughts?

I only spray mine twice, somewhere like weeks oh, say 4-6 or seven. I spay with a fine mister, a scant solution, of Diamond Necter, SM-30, and a tad of Liquid karma. Scant, Scant amounts, all ph'd. I may well wash them twice with JUST ph'd water, last of the bit, but thats all. Foliar feeding is a VERY passive thing, although real. If you over do it, you can mess with your trichs development. If someone has a better plan for foliar, I'm happy to listen to you. I do some stupid stuff. I once did the fish-poo, too. I don't know, if thats what YOU do. All I know, is what I do. Organic matter can stink. The sea stinks, in its own way, its organic, and full of poo, too. I've got no other clews.......
there is a pheno in the herijuana strain that is sought afetr an it smells just like catpiss there for it is known as the catpiss pheno...peace az
My girlfriend and sister tried telling me the weed I had in a jar that had been cured for a month, smelled like shit. All I smelled was pungent/sweet smelling buds.... Everyone smells things differently. Super Silver Haze also has a catpiss pheno- smells like catpiss. Also a clone only strain called Catpiss.
I gonna go on a different tangent here and suggest that Dirtaymcgirts' turds smell like skunk buds. Just a therory.
I've smoked all different kinds of SHITTY weed but who would smoke weed that smells like actual SHIT???? Does it taste like shit too??? If it aint the pheno then i'd be wondering about a bacterial infection
