Ok, I've noticed that there seems to be a lack of photo input lately. I'm also to blame for this but I usually don't like to keep putting up the same strains pictures after a couple of runs and since all I've been doing is the same stuff, I haven't posted pics.I have also noticed a lot of people afraid or intimidated by DWC. Once you get it dailed in, it really is fairly easy. Ok, now for the bud shots. I took these yesterday afternoon of my last two plants to get chopped. The one on the right is a chopped and trimmed Dabney top that was done Monday. The other two are Trainwreck that hasn't been trimmed. If you look close you'll notice that the TW doesn't have many leaves. All that sticks out are the tips of some tiny leaves. When I looked at this picture, I realized that you couldn't really tell the size of the buds, so this afternoon I took them back out and retook some pictures with a size referance of a 16.9 oz (500ml)water bottle. I hope they can give a better view. I put them in the same position. 2 TWs on the left and Dabney on the right. I moved the bottle to try and show the size of the "dominant" cola from the TW. The one in the middle (with the slight purpleish color) was the next nicest cola on the plant. This one I flipped the TW buds so that you can see that the fat one has a different color on the other side also. So, as you can see, you can get some pretty good results from DWC. I think they are a nice size and think that I must be something right. Let me know if you think they're nice. Let me know if you think they suck. Hell, let me know if you think I suck. Just looking for some input and some more action going on the board.
Those are some impressive buds. I wish I had some strains that yielded some big colas. It seems to me that all of my strains are of the round individual bud type of growth. I'm sure that the DWC helps with growing bid buds like that.
Boa, 600HPS. I don't know for sure what I get. I never weigh it, just smoke it up. The last time I weighed the Dabney, it was just under 4 oz per plant. This one I think is bigger. The Trainwreck is heavier than the Dab is this go around. If I think of it I'll try to weigh them. Ras, I think the DWC has a little to do but the Dabney in my tables gets big colas like that too. bibbudz, the TW is AWESOME!!! This is the clone only version. I don't know how the seed form will perform but it should be close.
I used to get 1 gallon paint can sized buds off the Dab in RDWC......them things go apeshit if u feed em 24/7, lol....pics in my gallery somewhere LV, how do u like the Dab now that its all worn in??? lookin good too......id like a shot at that TW personally
CC, I'm still trying it at different weeks. This one I did for 12 weeks. I can't wait to try it. I seem to like 8 weeks better than 10. Mostly because of the taste and smell. Well she what the greasy bitch is like at 12. :thumbs-up: :idea1: :bduh: :lala::goodidea:
Try it at 8 weeks with a 10 day flush, making it like 9.5 weeks then chop her, get it a good cure for like 3 weeks, THEN try it out, shit is like heroin
Fuck yeah bro. Those buds are what I am lookin for :bravo: Ras I haven't had a strain that regularly chunked up like that in years. I didn't know what I had when I had it. But I hear ya with the golf ball shit. I'm hoping this version of LT I have will produce some chunk. It did for Duc. Looking forward to a smoke report :good job:
