spinner trimmer issue

    My shaft is starting to strip out where the socket connects. You cant tell if you're properly seated until you go to spin. If seated no issue, if not if just spins whch makes the problem even worse.


    It looks like its all pressed together. Anyone have a thought about how to fix this?

    Maybe a strip of duct tape around the shaft to tighten it up ?


    Not sure how wallowed out it is.

    When I set the lid on I have to seat it by jiggling the spin handle a little to get the thing to sit down on the rim properly. Once I do that it's always remained engaged after until I pop the lid off to empty.


    You doin that? And it's not engaging or coming out of gear?

    Problem is from them using a 12 sided socket. Its stripped the shaft out because its sifter metal


    Guess thats the difference between cheap and expensive ones
