Well i'm happy to report the first round was a success with almost no problems......except i can't quite upgrading.I just can't leave things alone....i'm quite anal.

I'll start off with the upgrades i've done.
first my temps were good but i've never been a big fan of Dayto blowers and i found a good deal on the swiss made elicent and had to get it. It did change ny setup a bit and i had to add some duct work to make everything fit. Before my temps were 85 degrees so i cutdown on the amount of dryer duct and use regular round 4" duct on the rest. the less drag the cooler the temps.
I also realized i didn't insulate my exhaust duct enough and halfway through the day it would radiate heat back to the area where my intake is by 5 degrees.so i bought a different insulation, wrapped the duct better and lowered the temps to 81 degrees.

My exhaust duct which goes outside.Clear tubing is from my ozone generator.

Next i found a new bulb on the markey called Agromax. puts out 55,000 lumens and 30% more blue....$35.00

I gtot some new genes to play with....BigBud,Jack Herrer,Haze,Bubblegum,Ak47 and white Rhino. sjould make some nice crosses

The rest of my seed stash
    [IMG]

Another upgrade...remote thermometers. I have one in Flower,
and a sensor that is at the intake measuring Room temps. Italso has another remote sensor thatgives me the veg temps.
Now i can monitor air temps without opening the bookshelf

Now for the juicy stuff 2 WW's 3 weeks into flower and you can see the remote sensor.

Veg chamber with the runners up and you can see one of the remote sensors
C99xNYCD,Glass slipper, 2 WW clones that will make a mom

it's incredible to think you were just getting started with your last harvest. i can't imagine what that bookshelf will create in the next year. you've got a lot of work ahead of you :jealous:

hey gt nice setup. one thing though: make sure there's an opening on the fan suction drawing in the hot air from the top of the box. heat accumulates there. get rid of the heat...get lower temps

Nice stuff. I wish I had the tools and the know how.

Toad next time you post a PNG file, you better think again.Last thing people want on a cultivation site is their computer being pinged.

Thanks for the comps guys. Herb, man you must have ESP because i ordered a remote camera last week!

LOL just kidding however i did get some of this:

Gibberellic acid....so i can make some femanized seeds to share with everyone.

I also got some Sensa soak which is supposed to give you 95% females. I'll do a side by side germ, some with sensa soak and some germed the traditional way and will see if this stuff is worth it.

anxious to see how the sensi soak comparison goes as well as the feminised seed making.

Nice choices on the nirvana seeds. If you make some feminized bubblegum seeds keep me in mind ;) I loved growing and smoking those buds so much id do it some more LOL.

    Good luck bro.

thats a real nice bookshelf...why do you have the venting curved and up over the light as opposed to how you used to have it, right next to the light, bends reduce airflow.

Well because i changed blowers. The dayton itself was 90 degrees (intake was on the side) My new elicent blower is straight through (inline) plus i had to add reducers (6" to 4").The 250 is only available in 6" intake and exhaust. These new factors changed the length of duct work thus changed the position of the cooltube. If i just attached the cooltube to the end of the duct i would have 2 problems: 1)cool tube would be at the very end of the chamber causing bad light distribution and 2) it would not be adjustable vertically. Trust me i tried every possible setup with the new blower and this was the best option. However, all i can say is my temps have never been better. They are stable now at 81 degrees in the flower chamber.....and i will never buy another dayton blower after using this one.

what happened to your post with the first round in the bookshelf? i have searched for all threads started by you and it seems to have been deleted :ponder:

:crap: can you at least post a few of the pics again? the other day i was looking for a shot of the bookshelf as you open it where you can see both veg and flower chambers. also, i think you posted pics of your new aero-cloner in that thread.

Hey gt your pretty handy you ever think about making the shelf height adjustable instead of the light? i think it could be done with a little thought. then you might be able to get even better ventilation by not using any of that flex ducting, or not having any bends. i found some flex ducting a little different than the usual dryer venting, its like made of real thin aluminum and it streatches open well anyway the groves in the ducts are a lot smaller then the dryver vent groves so less air resistance. i dont know i have yet to even build a box for my ****.
