Hello everyone! I know most of your grows are huge, and many people frown upon growing MJ in tight quarters. I'm starting a stealthy pc grow. It is the only possible way to grow at this point, and I have to plan it out nicely. I hope you guys can help, it is my only way to grow, and hopefully I can plan it out to be nice and stealthy. It will be my first grow, and I want to get experience at it. My dimensions are: 17.8"(H)x8.3"(W)x19.3"(L} I believe. Now I know I don't have much height at all, and could probably only fit like 3 plants tops in there with some 1 gallon grow bags. I'd rather not use the grow bags. I have some pots at home but don't know how much soil they can hold, and what size they are. Maybe I could figure out how much the pots can hold by measuring the diameter (one side to the other) of the pot, and the height maybe, or no? I have searched but could not find anything on stealth pc grows here. There have been some successful and nice pc grows on overgrow that i have read about, and learned from. I plan to have a 70 watt HPS remote ballasted. White particle board on the inside, some pvc tubing for a passive intake, a pc intake fan on the front 80mm, one 120mm exhaust on back along with a 80mm, or I might just save the extra 80mm and put two 120mm on back. I have to plan how I am going to put a carbon scrubber on there also. Basically it has to look like a regular pc case, anything I add to the outside I will paint it black to match the color of the case. I also need a timer, and a remote sensor temperature unit so I can see the temperature without opening up my case. I plan to do this case nicely as it is a pretty good expensive pc case, and down the line I might return it back to a pc case, so I don't want to ruin this. This is my only form of growing because of my living conditions, and it has to be stealthy. No smell, not much noise from the fans. Which are some good pc fans that are really quiet, but push a good amount of air? Any pc grows anyone know of? Now I was going to grow lowryder because it auto flowers and finishes in about 60 days, and is a short growing plant, and would be perfect for my case. The thing is the potency and yield is on the low side. At least if it was potent I wouldn't care about yield, or if it was a good yielder I wouldn't mind too much about potency, but what can you do in my case (no pun intended) huh?lol So I plan to grow some regular growing plants in there. I will probably veg for only a week or two, and will be using the LST (Low Stress Training) method to improve yield. What do you guys think? I know mostly all of you guys have greater scale grows, and a lot of grows under your belt. I'm just trying to join the family, lol, but come out with something nice. Thanks to all.
sounds like a very great sounding grow ill ride this one out with you o do you just go to overgrow and search for pc grow?ive hae an old computer i was thinking about doing the same thing myself like a bed side garden i might recromend some lowrider seeds go look at strain gueid at overgrow they come froma seed company name jointdoctor but if there is any ? just hit me up ?
Thanks for the support Outdoorchronic! It's my only means of growing, so I'll give it a try, right now I'm in the planning stage, then I get everything together, and get to building. Yeah I would grow lowryder, but the potency and yield is not that good at all from what I have heard, I can always get a crossed strain I guess, but it'll diminish the chances of autoflower by almost half. Well the only way to maximize my yield to it's potential in the pc is to do some LST and/or SCROG. Once again thanks. once i get building and get a hold of a digi cam I will post pics.
